Has anyone checked if the steel used is genuine 904l? I have researched a little and have learnt that 904l is non-magnetic.

One other question - are the case back threads the same as gen? I would like to get a display case to show off the 4130 movement.....

A bit more research and you'll find the long discussions on RWI about 904L. It's interesting reading.

I've got display casebacks on both my Noob Daytonas, and they fit fine. I have the £25 version from "Homage-Watches" on eBay.

Super awesome write up! Thanks man. I have a question. Recently, I have seen pictures of noob 116520 black dial, and it seems that they have resolved the issue of fat sub dials. I couldn’t get more information on it, would anyone here know ?

By the way, I saw noob and arf 116520 white dial . To be honest, there’s difference which my eyes can tell a straight away and I prefer arf. But noob is fine if you view it in isolation (without putting it beside gen or arf)

Anyone know offhand the ootb height of the ARF V2 116520? I’ve read it’s “thick” compared to gen and noob but wondered the actual mm?

I think I read somewhere it’s gen is 12.2mm. Noob is 12.3 and ARF is 12.7. Don’t quote me, I’m going off memory. But most seem to be able to live with the thickness

Question for the Daytona experts. When I look at the red font for Daytona on Noob v3 vs ARF vs Gen, it seems that the Noob red is lighter than ARF and much lighter than Gen. Is this my screen or is this accurate? If I bought a noob v3 today, is it that noticeable? It also seems that the black dial red Daytona is darker (and closer to Gen) on all factories?

MScott did an awesome comparison post but take a look at noob v 2.2 vs noob 3. The v3 Daytona font looks much lighter. Is that just the camera or picture lighting? Because the dial seems more off white in v3 vs the others. Here is the link https://forum.replica-watch.info/fo...b-v3-daytona-vs-gen-daytona-vs-arf-v2-daytona

ssouthall6 Wow. Thanks for posting. In your second example, ARF 116503 and the Gen 116523 white dial red color are very different! Wondering if Noob v3 Panda and Gen are that different as well. Also, you really see the difference in font with the A and the Y in ARF vs Gen.

They are different though. I've got a picture of the gen 116500 somewhere but it was under jewellers light

What about the other dial colors? 116519, 116506, 116515.. Those chocolate, blue and ice dials look awesome.. Anyone has any insight on whether the level of effort noob put into that is the same as their V3 for the 116500?

Does anyone know if the 16520 gen dials fit the 116500 noob v3?

So I notice that the ARF is being advertised as fully functioning now. Does anyone know if that is accurate? Link below. Additionally I note the ARF is about $200 cheaper than the very expensive Noob. Curious if these opinions still hold true given these potential developments.

https://www.pfclones.com/rlds-4130-...na-116520-ss-ss-white-sa-4130-superclone.html

https://www.pfclones.com/0-0-0-rlds00900-arf-jf-daytona-116520-ss-ss-white-sh-4130-904l-steel.html

The ARF link under the “Functions” section states the 3:00 and 9:00 sundials are faux.
