Hmm I think I might like it. Always been a fan of that grey dialMine is all plated, it is the cheaper version. TBH I have not bonded with this one. It wears quite big and I cannot get used to the fluted bezel.
Stunning to look at though

Only a mad man would let a beauty like that go lmao. Thank you again.
I always wanted a Root Beer but as you already stated the dial is bankruptcy costly and really they haven't been good choices of cases gen construction I think all the old BK transformer GMT cases are all but gone? And if I remember correctly you can use certain Noob explorer cases to make a decent GMT builds but those are like a lot of trouble to find the right noob case. So like you said it don't make since to try to make a Franken. I would like to try something that looks decent just for fun. My problem I'm really anal about crown position etc.. it's hard to look over stuff u know is wrong . But I'm trying to get back to the fun of the hobby instead of worry about the little detail that littarally no one cares about lolhttp://www.supermirror1.com/content/?620.html
Out of the box basically. 14k Jubilee with rep GMT clasp. I have a gen xtal for it but never put it in as the case will not take a gen 6mm crown, it is poorly positioned and the crown action is not great. The dial is stunning and since there were so many variants of the dial who can tell it is not real. A real dial costs 2.5k lol and you will pick up the gen for 5-7k. So a franken does not make sense in my humble opinion.
This is the true advantage of the Root Beer. It is the most fun Rolex out there in my humble opinion. People would not call you out on one, not that that has ever bothered me, because they would be ashamed to admit they knew what it was. This was the ultimate wanna be watch of the 80s so it should be a rep lol.I always wanted a Root Beer but as you already stated the dial is bankruptcy costly and really they haven't been good choices of cases gen construction I think all the old BK transformer GMT cases are all but gone? And at $240 bucks how could you go wrong? Can you adjust the GMT hand at the crown? Or does it jump at each passing hour? This is the true advantage of the Root Beer. You can set it at the crown but it is tricky. There is not a lot of room for maneuver on this. Get one and you will know what I mean. It does not jump it slowly moves as the hour hand advances so it is a full working GMT. Sead did warn me there are no good reps of this but this is pretty passable if you ask me. I know MReplica have access to a slightly different one. @NCRich picked one up.And at $240 bucks how could you go wrong? Can you adjust the GMT hand at the crown? I appreciate the feedback. I went back a few pages and was reading yours and Rich post. Me likes the BP version like you got better. I believe the xtal is better on mine and the hue dial is better on mine, in my humble opinion. I believe I am a sunburst freak now. It is getting worse, I used to be just a bracelet freak lol.I appreciate the feedback. I went back a few pages and was reading yours and Rich post. Me likes the BP version like you got better. Just my opinion also haven't seen many pics of the other. But for a budget friendly piece it's great. Thanks
