Yeah, I'm not sure I'm bonding. I like it, but there are a lot of compromises. On the bright side perhaps that means some modding stuff in the future.
Yeah that is the MR one, is it not. It seems quite different to the one I have particularly the dial. How is that case? Does the crown sit too low?

I could have had either one. I chose this one based on a number of factors. The overall watch is better built, but it is not drilled. Apparently, according to MR, when TW has the drilled cases in stock no one will buy the BP, which is what you have. However the BP at this time has a drilled case........if we put both of these together we might have a decent one. I'm not sure about the dial, the lighting makes a huge difference in the photos.
And there a a ton of different root beer dials in the gen. You'd never get called out with this, no one has any idea what the gen looks like.
Yep I have seen so many variations. I have also seen gen dials go for 2.5K, NFW would I pay that much when you can buy the watch for 5K lol. If I was ever going the heavy franken route only this and the 5 digit Bluesy merit it in my humble opinion. My only regret on my one is it will not take the gen crown but I need to have the lugs drilled to 1.2mm but i am too lazy and I do not need my watchmaker rolling his eyes at me (again lol).

yeah, you want to do much here, you just buy the gen. It really isn't even a popular gen. Popular with me though!
