I started with the idea of building a 16613LB

As above the 16613LB is a a great project. It can be heart breaking and bank breaking lol but I learnt so much from it.

If you are going for the 116613 good luck with that. I will point out that the later 16613s had a 93253 SEL bracelet

That's a bewdy! Still love the 16613LB. Yes, was aware of the change in the bracelet code, only in 2008 right? The last year this was produced.
As for my build on the 116613lb, I'm still trying to decide if the VSF crystal and DW are good enough to keep or not. Any thoughts? C Master

Oh sorry I cannot help there. I have had loads of ceramics but rarely hang on to them. I have not studied the VSF 6 digit subs. Most of the xtals nowadays are really really good though. If in doubt I would always go gen or Prof xtal.

Hi folks,

Just sharing the Bluesy build that will be done by Legend.
I've gone for the following gen components along with a VSF donor unit, specifically I prefer the matte/lacquered dial over the starburst version.

I'm sure the finished product will be nothing short of amazing, so I hope to come back with the photos next time. Cheers

BTW Legend has recommended gen crystal and DW to be used so he will provide those as well
