The Bluesy has always been my favourite ever since I saw a 16613LB after graduating from college. Today, I own the gen 41mm 126613LB and it harks back to the old 16613LB with its tapered lugs.
At the same time, since I've found this world of rep watches, it's given me a new outlook on what owning one is like. Building my first franken watch which was the Hulk gave me the chance to hunt, collect and see a creation came alive. I do own the gen, a 2015 release and yet, the build unit is far more satisfying.
2 months ago, I started with the idea of building a 16613LB but decided that I would want solid links as it gives that weighty feel to the unit. Hence, I embarked on collecting gen 116613LB parts and am probably 3-4 weeks away from completion.
I will share the photos of the parts on this thread and hope to contribute to the TT genre that I consider under appreciated in the world of watch collecting.
