Really I don't know 'cause it's my first ym rep.
For sure datawheel is nice and bracelet as well. I have to compare the color of the bezel, to decide for Tom's mod. Actually I'm not sure.
Due to the dial color, absolutely not showy, this watch could began my daily wrist wear.
I'm considering a rubber oysterflex, too. I'm undecided between black or white.....
My trusty old TC 5 digit, no rehaut.

bought a handset from gmf for my arf. should I change only the second hand or the whole set?

That's interesting mod. The color of second hand better matches with the color of "YACHT-MASTER".
true. but dont know how the quality is from the gmf hands compared to arf. should I only change the second hand?

Hard to tell. Maybe it fits if both ARF and GMF are based on the same movement.

I tried the same last month, but my TD couldn’t get it from GMF. Who could source it for you?

as we had the discussion about the different platinum dials, I thought it might help to visualize the difference.
16622 at left, 116622 at right.
noob replicates the 16622, whereas ARF replicates the 116622

That is very interesting comparison. I am in the process of getting the 116622 from BP. And the lume looks blue. Seen here: https://trustytime.shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_10&products_id=16765
I would check the lume first, but personally I think I’d just replace the second hand.
I thought the 6 digit were blue lume and the 5 digit green...
