How do you feel the gold compares to Gen, and any idea on if there will be any issues with fading?
At the moment the only things i can say is the weight is different, the Gen is alway heavy than the Gold plated ,the bezel on the gen is more tight and solid , the priting on the Dial is more sharp and quality ,the lume is much brighter ,the edges and the curve is more nice and smooth feeling ,the rubber strap on the Rep is abit hard than the Gen
About Fading on the Gold plated i dont know tbh , because this is my first time have Gold replica lol

Even trimming down the clasp side of the strap doesn't make it short enough?

Unfortunately NO [emoji53]
The longest part of the strap can be shorten by cutting it (there is 4 springbar holes on it) so I am quite sure it will do.
But if the strap is still to long after shortening it, well ... I'll have an "on ly for skinny wrists" watch ... a little more difficult to sell without loosing to much money.
That's why I'm delaying "the cutting".
But will try because I really like this watch.
