Giving my Planet Ocean bracelet a baby oil bath....now it is silky smooth
So how long do you leave it in the oil for? Just rinse it under water after it’s done?

The oil bath helps but it's messy and hard to clean out leftover oil residue. You should look into an ultrasonic cleaner.

I just left it in a high ball glass for 24 hours (totally submerged in baby oil). Then, removed it from the baby oil, and wash it with dish soap. But honestly, just washing it with dish soap was pretty good.
Alternatively, spraying it with dry lube (found at auto parts store), then letting it soak into it for a few hours. Then washing it with dish soap worked well on my Ginault bracelet.
Obviously, remove the bracelet from the watch, or don't even attempt this
I want an ultra sonic cleaner eventually. It's on my to buy list It is ultra smooth now though!!! Google baby oil bath bracelet and you will find threads with ideas.

I was under the impression that the “He” on the helium escape valve is supposed to be right side up. Also, I’m not supposed to be able to unscrew it, right?
