Anyone had tried their PO on gator strap, are there pics to share?
Now I don't see those everyday. Very cool!
Where did you find this one? It looks Gen to me.
Indeed these don't seem to feature much around here, at least not the good ones. I've seen a few crap ones that were 45.5 and a lot of other inaccuracies, like orange 'Seamaster' and seconds hand tip instead of red.
Mine is from Ryan. I got it around November 2013 so I doubt they are still available. It was from BP, after they had updated the bezel so it didn't suffer from fade like they used to. It has a true Swiss ETA 2836-2, which is really the biggest tell, but on the wrist, that is never seen of course. There are a couple of things with the dial that annoy me, but not enough to drive me loopy. The 12, 9 & 6 markers are all a touch wonky. I guess I should open it up and try to straighten them, but I'm afraid I might damage something.
Tis my fave to wear for work, as although it's a dive watch and has that sporty element, the complexity of the tapestry dial screams class and style.
The orange bezel is beautiful, dayum...
Many seem to nitpick on the crowns being too thick, fat, tall etc, I don't mind any of them. Only one thing that bugs me is the position of the pearl. It's way off center, yikes... or so I'd normally think, but literally 2 hrs ago I just saw a 45mm gen at local AD with... guess what, misaligned pearl. Now I dunno what to think...
3rd batch of lmpo is coming out soon from what I hear. Get that over the crpo for sure!Question for you PO fans out there, I read in a different thread that Noob got the orange color for PO's bezel wrong on earlier releases, did they fix it later on?
Actually wanted the LMPO, but it's about as rare as a hen's teeth, oh well.
Thank you [emoji106]Stunning photography. Nice work
