Now I don't see those everyday. Very cool!
Where did you find this one? It looks Gen to me.

Indeed these don't seem to feature much around here, at least not the good ones. I've seen a few crap ones that were 45.5 and a lot of other inaccuracies, like orange 'Seamaster' and seconds hand tip instead of red.

Mine is from Ryan. I got it around November 2013 so I doubt they are still available. It was from BP, after they had updated the bezel so it didn't suffer from fade like they used to. It has a true Swiss ETA 2836-2, which is really the biggest tell, but on the wrist, that is never seen of course. There are a couple of things with the dial that annoy me, but not enough to drive me loopy. The 12, 9 & 6 markers are all a touch wonky. I guess I should open it up and try to straighten them, but I'm afraid I might damage something.

Tis my fave to wear for work, as although it's a dive watch and has that sporty element, the complexity of the tapestry dial screams class and style.

The orange bezel is beautiful, dayum...

Many seem to nitpick on the crowns being too thick, fat, tall etc, I don't mind any of them. Only one thing that bugs me is the position of the pearl. It's way off center, yikes... or so I'd normally think, but literally 2 hrs ago I just saw a 45mm gen at local AD with... guess what, misaligned pearl. Now I dunno what to think...

Wow!
That's crazy!
Yea. I actually don't mind that this one is off center because of the pimple for a lume dot.
I'll be replacing the bezel insert soon enough with one that has the correct lume dot (and in the center).
Till then,
I also have a UPO that is correct and mostly centered so I can deal with this one for now :)

Question for you PO fans out there, I read in a different thread that Noob got the orange color for PO's bezel wrong on earlier releases, did they fix it later on?

Actually wanted the LMPO, but it's about as rare as a hen's teeth, oh well.

^ don't worry about the colour.

Used Gens have different colour variations based on differences in UV fading, chemical contact etc.

I feel the same way quite often and then I remember that I can't tell much difference between the reps & gens now and I'll never use it to swim or dive so what's the point. Lol!
I swim as a triathlete but when I do, I use my garmin so a gen divewatch doesn't make sense to me if the reps are basically indistinguishable from the Genuine watches.

Here is a gen PO I played with a while back next to another of my lusts, a gen Speedmaster :)

You are right guys, point is that they look too good and feeling like thousand of dollars not rep expensive (or cheap lolol).
You may dive with it, I took mine and watch smith tested and went beyond 6atm that his gear can measure, so it blew up the scales!!!
I am just thinking that I would have one gen in my life and I don't know if I want Rolex or a drop dead PO..

By the way I sold my gen PO this summer after 5 years, felt too big and heavy and was sitting in my box for more than a year lately
