The issue is, i don't like the 15703 on rubber, i would want it on the bracelet, and that puts the weight up around 255g Thats alot of watch :)

If i like the 15500, i'll give the 15703 a go later, worst case scenario it's C&R.

Appreciate the input guys :)

well I do believe the 15400 wears larger than a diver.
the diver looks more sporty and chunky but the 15400 was definitely too big for me I got rid of this watch very quickly. At least on me personally the diver is like the 15202 in term of display size ...
I would place them in a category a bit larger than a sub C for your reference (as I have these three watches to compare) but with much more wrist presence.

for example the divers wears smaller than the Speedmaster professional...I ll try to do some shots tomorrow to show you if I have time....

I've got the ap diver... the 15202 and the 15500 and the 15400 and just no.

You're comparing the offshore to the 15202?

Just no.

The offshore Diver is WAY heavier and way higher... the 15202 is 8mm high vs divers 14-15mm. Not to mention 3mm small. Never have I ever seen the AP diver compared to the 15202... that is a first. One is regarded as a small discrete watch, the other is a chonky utilitarian beast, smaller than the other offshores but still big.

The 15400 wears smaller than the diver... and so does the 15500. It's mostly due to the weight and height. Both the 400 and 500 are slimmer. Wearability comes down in my opinion to weight + height. I have 8" wrists, so lugs mean nothing to me. But height / weight still matter.

I like the diver but I'm going to get rid of it as it's my least worn piece because it feels chonky and wrong. I love looking at it, but wearing it. No.

15202 wears like a dream even on my 8" wrist... the 15500 wears well too. Not personally keen on the 15400 either.

Anyway...

Diver is by far the biggest and you know it is the biggest when you wear it. And funny enough my diver is on rubber... so lord help it on a metal strap.

Speaking of which, I've ordered one on a metal strap. Tried it on before buying. Absolutely fantastic and solid construction. Personally the stainless steel strap just feels rugged af. As a powerlifter it feels gritty and utilitarian. Aye, it is a portable weapon lmao.

your opinion , not mine ...
I never said the diver was the size of the jumbo which I know perfectly as I have them both , but they wear similar (display size), while the 41mm RO are wearing larger to my eyes and on my wrist ....

Like I said for me as I wear all three, they are in the same « size » category, and the RO 41mm wears « larger » than these...the latter being more in the category of the omega speed pro..
of course here I am not talking about thickness just wrist match...and In this game the Rolex is the smallest looking on the wrist.

EDIT: I don't know about diver on bracelet as I never tried it...

How does the AP bracelet feel compared to Rolex?
Sturdy as all hell. Very soft underneath. Overall hard to put one over the other. An ARF bracelet feels like butter, but very soft. A JF AP bracelet is strong and dependable, but not as soft and buttery.

Looks great on your wrist!! When we start talking about 41mm+ watches, it really comes down to personal preferences and wrist shape. Even though both are divers, the FC wears a lot differently on my 6.8 inch wrist than 15703 (which essentially is a box queen for me). 15703 feels top heavy (plus the entire weight of the watch is centered in the mid-case when wearing on rubber) and just doesn't feel comfortable on my wrist after a while. For folks with larger wrists, maybe the facts are different. Additionally, even though the 15500 may wear larger, its feels very comfortable because of smaller height and more even weight balance across the wrist.

this is may be something I didn't consider as the carbon diver is a "very" lightweight compare to SS sisters....

Finally they’ve updated the bezel.

I am looking forward to the white dial version

WANT! I have already ordered 4 straps for it and they have been sitting on my desk for weeks! When can we order and be sure to get the updated bezel?
