Well, this watch needs no introduction. I thought I'd post a thread with some thoughts.
I couldn't stop thinking about the watch, and initially I think I was caught up in the negativity on the forum! I decided to go for it.
In reality, this is a beautiful watch. The construction is like any Noob AP, very nice. The caseback is exceptionally done and the bezel is now corrected. The dial is what people consider the weak point of this watch, but it is still very beautiful. The gold/copper colour provides a bit of class, but it's not as bling as the RGRC.
The flaws have been well publicised, but I would like to make a few points.
Very very few people will know the genuine article enough to call things like the date ring, the logo is incorrect on quite a few APs. It's minor.
People are quick to criticise the watch, and it is justifiable based on the disgusting bezels on the earlier watch. When this is sorted however, it's a really beautiful watch. Compared to the other gold beauty the RGRC, does it really have more flaws? Maybe, but with the RGRC you can instantly tell it's fake just by the weight alone and it also has the incorrect AP logo! All APs have flaws including this one, but it is the nicest watch I have owned so far.
