Anyone fitted a gen crystal & bezel on the Clean factory gmt 116710ln ??

You need a proper tool to press the retaining ring back on.

6-digit Sub crystal and bezel swap
If you can't press the retaining ring over the crystal gasket, then you can shave the gasket, the ring or both a little bit until you can.
Put the gasket on a junk crystal and swipe/roll it across some 400 grit paper in an even uniform manner.
Wrap some 600 grit paper around a round tool handle and sand the inside of the retaining ring like turning a crank.
Check progress often and don't take too much off or WP gets compromised.
