The Root Beer arrived a few days ago. I’ve been so busy with work that I’ve been unable to take the stickers off and size it. I hope to remedy that tomorrow and post a pic of the new watch. :thumbsup:

The watch has been unwrapped and sized to my wrist. I’m very happy with the dial, cyclops, dw, rehaut, etc. Everything is aligned well. The watch feels solid and hefty and the rose gold color is a very nice. However, after removing the stickers, I noticed that the “wrap” on a few of the gold links looked oxidized or it didn’t bond properly with the stainless steel. The imperfections almost look like “spills”. There is a spot on the locking clasp where it appears that a layer of the “wrap” came off when removing the sticker. Needless to say, I was disappointed. Especially since the rep is brand new. It is a rep though so that’s how it goes. I may send it to be re-plated.

Bummer bro looks like a bad plating job - it happens. I recently posted some info in the link below, you might find it useful.

In the meantime, I know it's not much of a consolation but I have seen a few of those on leather that look quite nice. A thick brown strap or even a dark brown Rubber B type is something I often thought I would do if I ever got one.

I’ve reached out to a watchmaker here in the US asking him if he can remedy the situation. Fingers crossed…..

Well I tried to keep the Jubilee on for 3 months … I failed Oyster and the dresses down look is just me. I’m sure the Jubilee will find its way back on at some point but just not right now lol

I love the Pepsi on oyster as well, absolute beauty!

I will be shipping it out later today to a watchmaker here in the US that Li referred. The gentleman is going to re-plate it for me. I may have him do a good servicing as well since this piece will be a keeper. Thanks, bro!
