TKS so much...............

If you are looking for a gen crown you need a 703, they are more expensive than the 704 unfortunately. A WSO tube works as far as I am told but verify that with a modder. The case might need to be re tapped but again that is modder knowledge and way above my paygrade. I can tell you the gen crown sits lower though from my experience.

All prices are for used crowns.

700 crown = $250 - $300 plus $40 for aftermarket tube or $100 for gen 7000 tube.

702 crown - $200 - $250 plus $40 for aftermarket tube or $100 for gen 7020 tube.

703 crown - $120 - $150 plus $20 for aftermarket 7030 tube.

704 crown $80 - $100 plus $20 for aftermarket 7030 tube.

Correct crown for a 1680 red would be a 702, but most would have received a 703 at service time.

Case will need to be re-tapped (do not need to drill) for all tubes.

The matte meters-first 5513 were in production approximately 1966 to 1971. The flat tritium plots like yours were used near the end of that run. So that would mean a 702 crown (no external gasket as on the 703) and a 7020 tube if you want an "all-original" look. The 703/7030 would give a totally appropriate "serviced" look.
