Did BP fix their day wheel? I just ordered from JTime and the weekdays font looks too close to gen. I'm concerned they got a noob by accident and I just can't tell from the pictures:

if it's a BP for sure then I guess I got a really good batch because the watch looks perfect to me

Almost sure that’s Noob as I had the same watch just with the silver dial. Looks good, though.

The gold at least to me looks closer to the BP ie less bronze from this vid. AR also looks closer to BP Is there anything else that makes you think it's a noob?
the thing is NOOB's font is different then that too. I'm really confused at what factory it's from. The yellow gold looks more like BP so that'd be the giveaway but it's hard to tell from photos.

I'd be interested to know what you find out. I'm expecting QC photos of a BP daydate in the next day or so.
According to JTime they confirmed it's a BP so I just GL'd it and I'll take a pic when I get it.

I don't think BP has changed their day font. The QC looks like a Noob to me. I always thought the BP day fonts looked closer to gen than the Noob.
BP characteristics compared to Noob
1. BP days always nearly fill up the day window
2. The O is elongated horizontally (not a perfect circle) when the day is stretched
3. The D is elongated horizontally
4. The A has a higher middle bar
5. The Y middle intersection is set lower and the upper branches spread further apart
6. The fonts are thicker
7. The letters have more pronounced serifs
While the BP fonts are not exactly like the gen, all of the characteristics listed above bring it closer to the gen than the Noob, IMO.
I just received this BP dd40 last week. QC was about 3 weeks ago. The day fonts are identical to two other BP daydates I have (both are 36mm but daywheel is the same size).
Buyers should ask for a movement pic if unsure. Noob uses a 3255 deco plate, BP does not.

Good info. Poster said TD stated it was a BP though. And I’ve never seen a date wheel that good on a Noob.
