Good eye, I didn't notice that because I never opened a link to that watch - I only checked PF-818 to confirm trusty had all models on his site. I asked my TD for a smooth bezel made just for the 40mm, TD works closely with BP and confirmed it's available. I ordered 2 and will post the photos when they arrive, maybe QC if mods agree.

It's all good bro! That's why we are here to help each other :) it's odd that he is the only one that has that option listed though.

Looking forward to the QC pics. I'm sure you will be ok to post bc it's not a watch like the sub that everyone will buy.

Something about the date window looks funky... like the opening is too big for the cyclops? Curious to see what noob is gonna come up with.

I agree. I thought it was the magnification that was wrong making the date look too big? It Lois worse on some more then others.

In the trusty video, they already show the bracelet falling apart...

I heard Noob is doing all the day dates very soon and they are coming out in 3-6 weeks... I'm going to wait until members confirm the quality of the bracelet and also for a wrapped gold model perhaps. I wonder if they can do a wrapped platinum model, but I doubt it...

Yea I also read that both noob and JF are going to be making them as well soon.

Did you ever show Ken those wrapped watches from those two sites to see if he can get them?

How is the quality of the bracelet? Does it feel cheap or solid? The older ones I had the bracelets were terrible.

Your watch is beautiful! I sold my day date a long time ago, if I had an extra link I would send to you. Sorry bud, Enjoy!

hey brother - the bracelet moves smoothly - it does not feel like a gen, but it's nice. It's a bit lighter bc it's SS not 18k solid gold - but for what it is, it's really nice. I just wish I could wear it!!

Beautiful watch! Hows the overall quality? Obviously the weight will be less but does it still feel solid? Hows the bracelet/clasp?
I have older daydate II and the clasp is pretty flimsy..

hey brother - the clasp feel good .. I can't see myself tightening it in the future, which I've done in the last bending it a bit to grab better. The weight is less bc of the bracelet, but it still feels good and moves very smoothly. I just wish I can wear it as it's too small and Hont said the factory takes a long time to send out links

Hey Guys - Been lurking here for a long time but this is my first post!
Had a QQ - Recently saw what looks like the new DD40 on Toro's site here: http://www.torobravos.xyz/index.php?route=product/product&path=39_213&product_id=2134
and I couldn't help but notice the considerable price difference between Toro's posting and the ones offered by TT. They're both BP factory watches!
Is the one offered by TT a higher quality one? are they diff versions? and finally - do you guys advise to wait for the noob/JF ones or pull the trigger on this PB for my first rep?

Cheers!

Dorn Is the swiss ETA considerably better than the asian? the "swiss" etas I hear are pretty much refurbished using asian parts anyways.

I'm definitely not an expert on the movement side of watches. I ordered a YG version off TT as I've always had the Asian movements and wanted to trial the so called Swiss version

Yes, the "Swiss" versions are very rarely actual Swiss movements and usually old Swiss movements mixed with Asian parts. It's not worth the extra money which is why asian clone is the better option.

Cant wait to see more actual photos of these from buyers.

Hey brother. Thanks man - it's okay .. I appreciate the gesture. It is costing me $80 for the links ... 3 links are $30 + DHL is $40 + $10 WU processing fee. Killer!

So apart from the Asian/Swiss movement difference.. you reckon the DD40 from Toro is the exact same one TT is selling? CC: Dorn
