Hey, Dusty and Maty, are we up for a group buy any time soon? Wouldn't mind replenishing some stock.

I can send you some LFDCs. Lt me know if interested and will do a count. Dustin is on the list with 20 sticks. I haven't smoked at all... 1 stick here and there, so I rather sell some of my stash.

I smoked a cigar the other night walking the dog in 19*F weather...outside for 2 hours straight, and I thought my hand was going to fall off.

it's interesting how a number of cigar sites are getting custom rolls from vendors.

I always bring some home from cuba. Reinaldo, la china, hamlet and alfonso to name a few.

cheaper to buy, rolled to perfection and great cigars.

Having said that, I still love me some cohibas.....

Maty, I'll definitely take some stock off your hands. 20 LFDCs sounds great! Let me know how much and when you need the cash, my friend. ;)

Will and Rob,

Not sure if I have 45 LFCDs left as I promissed Dustin 20 sticks, but I will do a count after work. How does $3/stick+ $5 for shipping sound? I will also post some of the cigars that I have more than 2 of, in case someone else is interested. I need to raise some traveling funds... It's bad timing to sell CCs as Customs is at war again with Habanos, but I got to do what's best for the family.

Understood. If it helps, I'd be glad to let Robb have 5 of my 20, and if you'd like to liquidate other stock, I'd be happy to buy a variety from you as well.

Price is more than fine; let me know what you'd like for various other sticks, if interested.

Thanks, man,

Will

will do a fast inventory after work and will publish a list by tonight.

I am thinking a couple of different world region Limited Editions, a couple of Esplendidos, a couple of Edmundo Dantes, a couple of Partagas serie D #4, a couple of Romeo and Julieta Churchills... I know I have multiple of these.

If you don't have enough LFDC's, I'd take some Esplendidos in their stead. Either way, thanks for sharing the wealth ;)

Cohiba Maduro Genios #5 for today. Awesome day in Arizona so I decided to go for one of the Maduros. The pics could have been more focused but I used my phone, so I guess this is the best I could...

5 Vegas Classic torpedo last night. I was pretty excited, since I've been wanting to try a 5V for quite a while now. I get CI's catalog (as I imagine most of us do) and have been curous about the brand since I first read about it. I'll admit I was skeptical at a $4.50 stick going into it. Notes from my smoke log:

Initial impressions: very well-packed and weighty in hand. Interesting shape too, as the tip is very elongated pointed; much more so than any of the other torpedos in my humi. Slightly spicy aroma pre-light. Cut, toasted, puffing away. Hey, this is pretty good! Lots of earthy tobacco with some spice at the back of the palate there. Ash is really impressive- very white and almost a solid wall...no chance that sucker's gonna fall off anytime soon. Pepper through the nose and spice building towards the middle, but the smoke itself is mild-medium in body. Ash hangs on for almost a good 2". The wrapper is burning slightly unevenly, but a few short "maintenance" puffs takes care of that. Body builds quickly into the finish...this sucker is decidedly medium-full now. Getting some woodsy notes mixed with the earthyness. Spice dropping away, body building up quickly right at the nub.

All in all, pretty damn good smoke, especially for the price. Gave me a bit of a headache there at the end that I wasn't expecting, due to the rapid jump in body profile. I'll give it a solid 8/10, and definitely reccommend it. :maty:
