Donnie,

I smoke my cigars with the band on and remove it when it gets too hot... I usually wear the band on my pinky till the cigar is done.

The cigar band pretty much identifies your taste to other aficionados, just like a watch...

then after it is gone to you save the band or throw them away?

Right to the edge...

Note: Be careful when removing the band. Occasionally you'll find it's glued to the wrapper.

A little saliva... Good to go.

I usually leave the band until the first ash falls, then carefully take it off.
Unless I'm in the hot tub and then I'll leave it on as long as I can so I can pick up the cigar with wet fingers - the big Gurhka bands are perfect for that!

And I usually save the bands, not sure why but I got an empty box I just toss em in

Myriad uses... Now we need to invent a "roach clip" for cigar lovers (up to 60 ring?). Always seem to smoke these babies to nub.

Consigliori, check out Cigar.com, Gurkha Guerrilla Warfare. They sell a mazo of 10 for just $39.95; a great deal.

Got a super deal on a bunch of these quite a few years back. No one I ever gave one too really had anything good to say about them, lol. I liked em, tubed the last five - here's the last one thats been hiding in the bottom of the humi for at least a couple years...

Pretty much how I remembered 'em, perhaps a bit better...
Maybe just because I knew it was the last one, or the age- whatever
Nice mild & mellow smoke though

I was going to take a pic and say "I guess I do usually leave the band on while smoking" and while doing so I dropped the ****** :( Lookit

Bummer

Now we need to invent a "roach clip" for cigar lovers

Usually, I'm pitching em after I've smoked around 3/4
But of course since I thought that, this baby just kept on going :maty:

I was gettin' the flavor of cherries coming thru in that last 1/4 - CHERRIES MAN!!
Crazy...

So it turns out that some kinda roach clip or something would have come in quite handy today.
I'd love to re-up on these, if I can find them

Thanks! Perfect place to grab a mazo each of Beautys and Beasts that I've been after - Nice!

Donnie,

I don't throw away the bands as I am planning on making a cigar table and using all my bands under the glass. I will glue them to the wood surface then apply a glassy like finish or glass on top. I have about 200 bands so far....
