Actually it was the 535 edition. Its coming back to me now,lol They came in a box of 10 and I have 7 left. My camera is not letting me download the pics sorry:facepalm:

You need to publish the pictures on photobucket or imageshack. Than by using the little icon with the 2 hills on it ^^, paste the URL of the pic. Simple as that :).

My Jeep is in for repair; had to take the MAX line from work to get my wifes car and then get home. Smoked a Vegueros (courtesy of Maty) as I walked to and during my wait at the MAX station. Not surprisingly, the train into the city was full of drunks, pimps, ho's and crazy people. Made me thankful I practice my 2nd Amendment freedoms daily...

Vegueros - The aroma was crazy, smelled like honey and grass. Tasted a hint of leather, mildly sweet tobacco and a spiceness that made me think of cinnamon. Again, yummy... :D

I used to be a cigarette smoker, I quit about a year ago, and now once in a while (maybe once every month or every two months) I smoke a cigar. .

The guy at the shop advised this, knowing that I don't wanted something too strong. Anyone knows if it's any good?

Yes, but I've been told it tastes more like a Dominican. Being a cigar noob I couldn't tell.

Got a box of those Flor de Copans. Purchased them not far from the Copan Mayan ruins straight from the factory outlet store. Good stuff guys, good stuff.

Smoked a Cohiba Siglo V the other day. It prooved that the Siglo VI is the king :)

Had to go to the doctor today to have blood work done prior to a follow-up appointment. Did some mokin' on the way home...

I've mentioned the Fonseca Arana in the past. I'll let Cigar.com say it for me now...

"This beauty is chocked full of aged Cuban-seed Dominican long leaves, all masked by a Criollo ‘08 binder. Top it off with a premium Habano wrapper and you have a spicy, nutty and earthy treat. If you want an amazing everyday value - this is your cigar."

Gurkha Empire V the other day, while doing some grilling and helping a buddy install a storm door:

Part II, had to pick up my wife that evening. Decided to try a Pinar Del Rio "Habano Sun Grown". Got these from Cigar.com in an email deal. Not as good as the Fonseca Arana, which is considered to be medium to full. This one WILL rip your head off. Smoked one mowing the lawn the other day and spent an hour lying on the living room floor hyperventilating. Too much vitamin N...

LOL sounds like they can use some humi time! I'm a distinctly medium-body guy, and the only way I can smoke full-bodied sticks is if they've had a few months to mellow out in the humi.

I am down in Arizona for the week, and kinda caught up on my smoking. I believe I had 5-6 smokes during 7 days of stay so-far. Took a couple of pics of the last two:

ENJOY THE PICS...

Thursday's cigar was a Cohiba Piramides LE 2006. WOW, blew the tastebuds out of my mouth...

Kept the ash like a champ, like Mike Tyson... LOL

img20110602110114.jpg

I had to put it down, it was burning my fingazz:

img20110602114436.jpg

Friday's cigar was a special stick I have been keeping for the Arizona trips. A Ramon Allones Exclusivo Suiza 2007. If I could stop hoarding cigars, I would keep these and Cohibas ONLY!!! But that is not the case, unfortunately...

Talking about a nice ash:

And more ash...

Monday's cigar, a Dominican Red Dot Cohiba Churchill:

imag0018n.jpg

Displays a different whiter ash that doesn't stay as long as the Cubans...

Almost done but had to put it out, my flight is only hours away...

On Saturday, a friend and I had a couple of my Siglo VIs from a March 2010 box.

Amazing smoke. A sweet grass flavor for the pre-draw. Cocoa flavored smoke throughout, with a little spice/pepper thrown in the mix after it got about half way through. Completely smooth flavor throughout, excellent burn, easy draw, with subtle flavors.

A couple pics taken with my android.

I thought whiter/ighter ash was preferable to darker ash?

From what I understand, the color of the ash generally depends on the minerals in the soil.

I have noticed that a lot of dominican cigars have very light/white ash. Cubans I have had are typically grey or spotty white and grey.

Gray or white are generally good, black is generally bad.

Had my first Opus X the other day.
I've read so much about them over the years but never seen one at the stores. Most shops here sell cubans and crap.

It was a Opus X XXX. And really didn't live up to the hype. Tight draw and far to acidic for my tastes. Still a very good smoke but nothing like the reviews I've read on this blend over the years.
