Just my opinion (feel free to make your own observations and decision as the buyer)

- AP logo is tilted yes. I will ask for another piece.

Regarding the screws, always remember that the bezel "screws" are actually part of the decorative bolts which connect the bezel to the caseback. The proper way to align them is always by opening the caseback and doing the necessary adjustments. A screwdriver should never touch the decorative screw heads on the bezel IMHO.

Hi there, I’m wondering what you like best for a royal oak offshore diver ref 15710st with black dial off the shelf. I’d also add about $1000 in mods if there are mods you’d recommend? Thank you!

I’ll recommend you go for the ZF diver.
Then do a movement service, waterproof, cyclop upgrade and optionally instant date change mod. It’ll be visually as good as gen then or at least have no meaningful visual differences.

Dear all, I had an AP ROO A3126 many years back from JF factory. I understand JF had an updated v2 cyclops and date wheel but since JF is out of business now, I wanted to checked if there is any place I can purchase? Or is there other factory that has similar updated DW and cyclops ? Any help or assistance is appreciated !

Just got 2nd QC and this one seems better. Thanks all for your opinions, I decided to RL the first one because I would probably be always looking at the tilted logo

Hi guys,

I just noticed that my 15400 project has quite bad (non-existent) chamfering as compared to gen, pics below. Is there a way to "extend" the chamfers on it without using advanced tooling? Please if any kind soul could guide this one lost wombat, it would be highly appreciated!

Any decent Royal Oak model without the very loud rotor? I love my ZF 15500, but the rotor noise ruins it for me. An easily servicable movement is a plus too!

What's the best of all the 34 or 37 MM RO ladies reps ? ZF ? Not a lot of info on the small sizes on here of current production stuff.

Hey! Same issue on the 15400 O am actually building. I ordered a new midcase from @legend that he will work on it.

Depending on what tool has your Watchsmith he can maybe do the job, unfortunately mine (who is assembling the parts and servicing the movement) doesn’t have the tools to do it properly.

So I’m looking to buy an ap Royal Oak 15510 green or blue dial, 15500 is also possible depending on the quality…

Reading all the posts this is what I understood to mod at least to have it look decent enough that my gen wearing friends won’t see any diff:

Audemars Piguet 15510ST Royal Oak

APSF Base watch -
Refinish AP logo, dial markers and dial surface
Rebrushing for case, bezel & bracelet
Enhance definition and polish of case/bracelet bevels
Full movement servicing done with proper cleaning, greasing and regulation of parts
Polish and Align bezel screws
Waterproof and pressure test

Custom Dial
Custom Hands
Custom DateWheel
Custom 22K Gold Rotor

Can anyone advise me if I’m on the right path? And who I can ask to deliver me this? Also whether I should go for 15500 or 15510?
