This is locked in my safe deposit box with my 16610 from 2000.

Although I made a twin of it with all rolex parts. Which is which?

This was a 16803 that I should had never got rid of!

This is my 16613 that I traded for the 116610LV case and a new 97200 bracelet and bezel with cash. I miss it.

You should have never got rid of the 16803 or 16613 lol. I still have my 16803 it will only be got rid of out of dire necessity. I say that now but I of all people know that tastes change.

Indeed tastes change, here's my 16803 too... used to love it but I have been wearing it a lot less.

Still, will likely be leaving it to one of boys in the future

I love that one. I remember when there was still a hint of Blue/purple still on the dial. It looks great in the faded condition. Almost like a serti.

Thanks brother! It's true that it's somewhat serti-like now... the evening of the tropical dial took less than a year from the day I got the watch... time really flies!

Lol I would hate to be called an expert on anything. Last I checked there were no great versions of the 16613, BP have one but in my opinion it is only so so but for less than $300 it is not a bad watch, but no where near the real thing, I gave mine to my father in law you had it wrecked in a month. Maybe JF will do it since they do the 16610 already, fingers crossed.

If I was to go for one ootb it would probably be the Noob 6 digit 116613LB I prefer the 2010 dial to the BP version of the newer ones. It comes in a wrapped version too, I had that one but it does not do it for me as much as the 16613/16803.

Unfortunately I have never held the VRF. All I can say is I really like the Noob Wrapped 116613LB. Of all the 6 Digit TTs I have had that was the best but i never bonded with it. Funny enough I loved the Narikaa 116613LN best of all in the 6 digits. Talk about bang for buck.
