I hate saying it but true dat. Unless we disagree. Like about the Smurf, you really have to prefer the Hulk just for that sunburst alone. Now I don’t know about @yllekp but I always am.

Looks great, is this a recent build ? I noticed one of these bezels recently sold on eBay for £700, was eyeing it up with the same dial as this. Was planning the same build.Want to see a wicked two tone?
Love a nice bluesy but you don’t see a lot of these.
It is a Sean case and the rest is Rolex. Oh the band is a wrappped sub band. Need to find a real YM band.

Yes I agree, the build is very unique real eye catcher, the bezel I saw was up for £750 so yes around the $1000 mark. Wear it in great health. No I built it about a two years ago. I just got it back and put a 3135 in it. I put a what I brought as a Sean two tone wrapped bracelet on it. I will be looking out for a real bracelet.
I'll post a thread on the build. When I made it I had had gotten BK's last 3 Sean YM cases. They are the ones that fit a full 3135 with the automatic winding bridge on it. The WM9 and the TC crush the rotor on a 3135. So I had did a thread comparing the two cases. Anyway. I built one platinum one with all Rolex parts but the case and I built this two tone with a dial that I had gotten. I also found the bezel in NYC Dimond district. Amazing how people walk in and bling up their watches and don't care about the bezel they took off. So I brought it.
Now I had to use a Sean crystal ring on it and while it fits it was very loose. Right now there is a guy dumping a lot of real Rolex parts on Ebay. I found a real Rolex crystal ring for a YM and a click spring. I also brought a real crystal ring for a 1680/5512, real 16800/16610 and tension washers and click. While he is a little expensive, they are new old stock. So I am excited. I plan on putting it together this week. Right now the bezel is very tight and kind of locked in position. I noticed that the real YM crystal ring had an indentation in it, where the Sean one looks like a sub crystal ring with out the O'ring cut out on the bottom. I will take pics of it all. I know if you don't know watches it is hard to picture.
I defiantly missed this watch. It was a watch you just don't see reps of. I know why. The price. This bezel cost me about $1000. I see them now on Ebay for about that. They have the mid size too. But finding a Sean case is hard.
I wonder with the JF yacht master if I could swap real Rolex parts on those? I need to get my hands on one. I do like the look of the new YM in rose gold with the black rubber bracelet and the black ceramic bezel insert. Those parts are going to be crazy expensive.
Finally!!! After years of waiting, I finally got my 18K solid yellow gold bezel ring. It really does wonders for the watch!

Lots of people don't realize that that little detail is major. A real 18K bezel is amazing. A rolex one is breathtaking. The way it clicks is so sweet. Not that hard clip but that even and distributed slightly mechanical soft click. The look of the no flat lip is also great. Don't get me wrong, I love a star time solid 18K bezel. It is the next best thing to a real one. But once you have a real one I would spend the extra few hundred dollars to get the real Rolex one. No if and or buts about it. Its an obsession that you won't realize until you get one. LOL. As I always say, I LOVE THIS HOBBY! Bringing a Rolex to life piece by piece!
Haha.. I love your passion! I have a gen 1680, so believe me, I know about the obsession! XD It's hard on my OCD to always be comparing the quality of the gen to the franken 16613. But the main thing is that the 16613 i getting there - and I feel blessed that I have one at all. And it's all thanks to you guys. Without your huge knowledge and research I couldn't have done it by myself (I was a 100% pure noob two years ago - still are in many ways ).
Yeah, that was a little man love/watch passion right there.... "clearing throat"... Well back to topic
Oh a 1680! @Chred I just got my 1680 back! It is every part Rolex but the mid case. The case back is Rolex, the bezel and insert and crystal ring and crystal and even tension ring, is Rolex. The 1565 the silver date wheel, the hands the end links down to the clasp and band! The dial I am learning is an early Beyeler replacement when I was told it was a Mk II. It is identical to a MK II and has Beyeler all over the back of the dial. There was a water mark on it and that is how I got it at a reasonable price. Only part like I said is the mid case which is a phong case. I put every part together in this baby. Brought mostly sealed parts from the internet. Love Europe. Those guys on TRF in Germany have amazing connections on crystal rings and full bezels kits. Mike my buddy here with getting and servicing the movement and getting me hands. Down to Michael Young who can take a 1970's 93150 and make it like new. Also have to thank Chrono24 for being able to shop for the proper dial for my build.
If you look at the word ROLEX above the E and the X there is a very light discolor circle from water mark. The lum is nicely aging. Still white but a little yellow. I was told that they don't get much worst. I do need to get my crown guards redone. I polished the case a little too much. But this is the out come. I am actually thinking of getting a newer insert. Don't like the fat font ones. For this year it should be just a fat 4, I think. Love this stuff!!!!
Sorry not a 16613. But just add to the 16613TT
That one looks shiny enough But yes the gold should last forever.
I need a gold bezel.....
