I think cny is just over.

Now I wonder how long the factories will take to fix the broken ceramic and the douuble misspelling

I kinda doubt they’ll fix that gap tho

What model did you sacrifice for the case?

I didn’t care about the gap when I bought it, or even the first few wears, but now it sticks out and feels like it’s getting bigger. Just doesn’t look right.
I used a 15500 by ZF (w/decorated movement). This was back in the early versions when their bezel screw holes weren't that nice. That's why I had the case sitting around.

I’m assuming you got the steel one?
And the movement fits like a glove just like that without modifications?

Yes, the steel one. It needed a custom spacer to fill the gap and hold it in place. The THB caseback was also too shallow for the rotor. But I had an old JF 15400 caseback which was a bit more roomy. Overall, it came out a bit thicker than the stock THB.

the 15400 case and the THB case are both the same 41mm, but you're doing this just to eliminate that gap, correct?

The 15500 case created a sizable gap between the case and movement. I fabricated a custom hold to fit in the case and hold the movement. The THB case back was a bit too slim and didn't give enough clearance for the rotor. The JF case back was thicker and provided the needed clearance. JF might of made theirs thicker to give space for the decorations.

Tbh I just want them to correct the "douuble" spelling mistake but also the whole design of the balance wheel. If it was looking the same as the gen, it would be perfect for me. There's really no need to have two balance wheels

Question, does everyone actually think for $700 or so you're getting anything remotely close to an authentic watch? It seems like a lot of members are infatuated with trying to get a 1/1 watch. It's quite comical actually. Replicas should be more for fun than TRYING to wear something that's fake and make yourself believe it's authentic. I buy reps not for them to be perfect and they NEVER will be but to enjoy something I like but can't afford. Just like everyone on this forum. I laugh at not buying something because it's not perfect. Lol

The gap ruins it for me. Looks worse than the one on my old JF 15400. If they fix that I would buy one but not while its like this. The spelling error on the caseback doesn't matter to me as much as the botched case.
Why not buy a real one? Lol. Too much?

I have the same opinion. Regardless of the inaccuracies, this skeleton watch is beautiful and really enjoyable to wear. I have the steel version without the douuuble balance.

I laugh when I see these types of comments. You don't actually think a $x0,000 watch actually costs anything remotely close to that price to produce, do you? The rep factories can put out very similar pieces at a fraction of the retail price because they don't have all the overhead for dreaming up a watch into existence and then building the desire for it though global marketing. Copying stuff is much, much cheaper than being the first to create something. So yes, if I'm buying a counterfeit good from a dusty shop for $700 (which is not far off from the production cost of many machined steel gens) I want to make sure there are no comically bad copy mistakes.

I missed this line until FeeFo pointed it out, if you think everyone on this forum can't afford gens you have NFI of what you speak. There are people on here with gen collections valued far higher than your entire net worth, tehrte are people here who could buy you with the change down the back of the couch. The average net worth here is far higher than the median in any country on earth. There are those here who can order a watch worth more than my annual income without needing to give it a lot of thought.

Saw a white ceramic gen version. Looks amazing but also limited to 30 pieces. Wonder if they rep it.
