The gap ruins it for me. Looks worse than the one on my old JF 15400. If they fix that I would buy one but not while its like this. The spelling error on the caseback doesn't matter to me as much as the botched case.Agree - more evident in this vid:
The mid cases flat space above + below the bezel right before it tapers off to the bracelet is way too large. The APSF 15510 has this fixed already. Given this watch seems like its based on the 15400 I assume the error worked itself in because they used those old materials but never improved them since a few years...What is mean „borked“??
It Like broke?
I agree too. That is almost the exact ratio from 15400. The funny part is, I actually prefer 15400 mid case’s gap. It some how makes dillusion vesel looks small by giving extra space to its cover area. (The reason I find why 15400 looks smaller than 15510)The mid cases flat space above + below the bezel right before it tapers off to the bracelet is way too large. Probably better to wait for them to fix it, hands down. I buy it if they fix that. This watch seems to be based on the 15400 as also the number suggests, they just took the old plans. I have an old JF 15400 and the case distance is exactly the same. 1:1I agree too. That is almost the exact ratio from 15400. The funny part is, I actually prefer 15400 mid case’s gap. So I am hesitating if I should bu this wrong case![]()
Breaking ceramic?I JUST want them to fix the "douuble" and the breaking ceramic.
There are some modders that do an upgrade to double balance, freesprung at an additional cost i believe.Im just waiting double wheel. then go for it
very pricy conversion but i gather the factory will figure something out since they know its a cash grabThere are some modders that do an upgrade to double balance, freesprung at an additional cost i believe.
I think it might be tough for factories to mass produce actual free sprung double balancesvery pricy conversion but i gather the factory will figure something out since they know its a cash grab
Perhaps they may do double regulated balances, as a balance wheel can be fitted on the current rep i believe with some tweaking involved.very pricy conversion but i gather the factory will figure something out since they know its a cash grab
Yeah, I swapped mine. It fits but needed a custom adapter between the movement and case. It would not be hard for the factories to order a similar adapter and reuse existing cases.Has anyone tried swapping the THB movement into another factory RO case that has more correct dimensions (if it would even fit)?
Nice! Can you post some pictures of the process or finished product?Yeah, I swapped mine. It fits but needed a custom adapter between the movement and case. It would not be hard for the factories to order a similar adapter and reuse existing cases.
What model did you sacrifice for the case?Yeah, I swapped mine. It fits but needed a custom adapter between the movement and case. It would not be hard for the factories to order a similar adapter and reuse existing cases.
I think the gap isn't that big of a deal. the "douuble" is thoughWhat model did you sacrifice for the case?
I didn’t care about the gap when I bought it, or even the first few wears, but now it sticks out and feels like it’s getting bigger. Just doesn’t look right.

The gap is because they used the data from the AP 15400 cases for this. Look it up the AP15400 has this too. It should not have been used on this model though.I think the gap isn't that big of a deal. the "douuble" is though
