I have placed an order for the TC Sub 16610LV but this starts appeal more and more every time I see a pic.. I think I will get this as well maybe in couple of months after having the LV on my wrist..

Just because someone else's is waterproof doesn't mean yours is.
They're all pretty waterproof because they're TC.
But if you want piece of mind you should personally waterproof each of your watches or get them specifically waterproofed.
Even used gens.
One could be anal about correctness. Example given, me. I got all of my TC or ST cases I used for builds engraved with the correct engravings for the build.
Not to sell it as a gen, just because I'm giving it a lot attention to be perfectly rebuilt.

How do you manage the laser engraved crown on the crystal? many users change the rep crystal to a gen one without the LEC, because the Rep LEC looks "too telling" i.e very inaccurately reproduced with respect to a gen one, right?.
Now, if you can get a gen crystal, shouldn't it already have a gen LEC on it by default?

I only build old style. 1***** refs. These don't essentially come with LEC's. I just don't like the shit. I still buy all gen parts but just gen non LEC crystals.
You could go gen LEC crystal aswell, you'll have it as it should be then.
