nope its off to left or right , I wonder if taking the crown and stem out as one unit and moving it a little might get it closer to line up. I did read that the sign of a real Rolex is the crown is straight up but then a well regarded member said hell know go and see genuines!

I've read that too and must admit its nice to have it well aligned but im sure there's variation in gen also, im not sure how you could achieve better alignment without changing the size of the tube? Or possibly getting a gen tube because I think you have to recess the case for it to fit the last mm (I think) and file it down until it aligns... If that makes any sense... Its what I can gather from reading about putting a gen stem and crown on a v6, ym may be different for all I know, purely speculation

yes the gen crowns vary greatly as far as where the crowns coronet is pointing when the crown is screwed down, they are all over the place

My gen DateJust is well off to the right.

With regard to the lume - it is amazing. The best of all my watches.

+1
Crown coronet stand-up when screwed-in is no criteria or feature of a gen Rolex...I've had many and hardly 2-3 had the crown stand-up when screwed-in...
