I never cared too much about dial printing, wether it's period correct or not!

Because lug engravings are hidden 99,999999999999% of the time. There is no real reason for us to have lug engravings.
It would certainly be a nice feature, but isn't necessary. I even forgot that my V6 has no engravings for a long time...

No lug engravings is to deter fishy sales of TC as gen.

Hold on, before I get crucified here. I had been wearing my V6 on a nato strap. Thus the exposed lugs.

But your answer makes sense as far as lack of engravings.

Unless you don't want to pass a TC as a gen sub to your friends or worse selling it as a gen there is no need of knowing that your TC sub has lug engravings. I think that my TC Sub V6 is an incredible rep and if the watch would have engravings it wouldn't make me more confortable. It's just my opinion..

One could be anal about correctness. Example given, me. I got all of my TC or ST cases I used for builds engraved with the correct engravings for the build.
Not to sell it as a gen, just because I'm giving it a lot attention to be perfectly rebuilt.
