Nice comparison buddy. I've ordered a 700 crown and tube for my 7928 build as I want to keep it vintage. The 700 crown was discontinued around 1972 and my build is a 1967.

The 702 crown is often found on the gen 7928 however, as a replacement part. Also it has a far better seal on it

Thanks man. I was going with a service replacement look on this one. Athaya's crowns are so nice looking, that I didn't want to get a 700 and beat it up to match the case haha.

Luckily with Athaya's crowns, even the 700 crown comes with the same WR as his 702. I'll be grabbing one once I start a PCG 7928.

Stoked to see more people starting 7928 builds, it's a really fun one to do!

I'm new to all this and had some questions.
I am thinking about building a 7928 also but am not sure about some things.

I've found 2 options for cases:
Perfect Clones rep: https://www.pf-828.com/tuv00201-tudor-7928-submariner-ss-ss-black-a-2813.html
Puretime rep: https://puretime.io/vintage-tudor-submariner-7928-yellow-lume-dial-a21j.html

I noticed for the perfectclones one you can pay an extra $70 for the 2836 movement instead of 2813 movement- is that worth it? which is closer to gen?
also which bracelet/clasp is more accurate?

also, would you recommend the 700 or 702 crown and tube?

Also where could I find a more accurate caseback or spare bezel?

Thanks so so so so much!!!
