it is the lever from the crown guard that causes this issue, and the bad thing is that you cannot shave it down because it is the roller ball.

I am thinking of attempting this over the next one or two weekends...

Now, what sort of tools would I need?

A bench vice for holding the stem while I attempt to unscrew the crown?

A dremel kit? What brand is good? Where can i get one? Amazon?What kind of bits should I buy? (I'm hoping to get something more versatile and that can used again for other projects)

Locite? Where can I buy this in Singapore?

Finally, where can I buy a replacement crown if I screw this up?

Regarding the crown , I think it has to be either the Noob 111J or the new Hublot factory crown as the T48 crown has too SMALL diameter.
