The only time someone has ever commented on any watch I've worn was my $30 Casio Royale (which is an awesome watch) - not an eyelid batted at PAM's I have worn or anything, and the rule really is if anyone asks then honesty is the right approach as chances are if they are that clued into rep vs gen they are probably a fellow rep enthusiast, or a massive knob that is butthurt that there's a life hack to being able to appreciate multiple iconic watches without having to be in the top 0.1% of the population.....
