I‘m wearing my wig at my chest.
And I do it with pride

I find that now I like doing the opposite of trying to pass them off and I'm buying reps that I would not in gen, such as Tourbillons, and to make it far more fun I don't really know or study what the gen looks like so I can really enjoy the mechanisms and finishing of these super-reps without worrying if an index marker is a fifth of a mm too wide, I just enjoy the design.

Another story-----

So, I'm at the local mall around here wearing my Rolex Submariner, the Noob Edition paid something around a 100 dollars for it.
So, I'm browsing and this guy with a really s***** attitude comes up to me, asks me if he can help me. I tell him yes, he said may I ask what you're wearing right now? So I show him my Rolex, then he says maybe you can bring your mom or dad and they can buy you a real one. I'm in my 20's...wearing Ed Hardy, Armani shirt, true religons, so obviously, I didn't look poor you know? Heres the dialogue. ( remember I have a temper )

Me: What makes you think you think my s**** fake?
Him: I'm just doing my job.
Me: Your job, is to s**** behind that counter and make the minimum wage that you do, and ask me, the customer, what the f*** I want.
Him: Right sir I'm just doing my job, I know that watch is fake.
Me: Right, can I ask what you do for a living besides sit here? Better yet, what kind of car do you drive.
Him: I don't see were your going with this, I drive a Honda Element.
Me: I drive a porsche worth more than your f****** house is, learn to treat your customers with respect. Me and my boys put people like you behind bars just for the f****** fun of it.
Him: Is that a racial comment?

Then I proceeded to walk out...laughing my ass watching his manager yell at his ass.

My question is, how did he tell? He didn't even touch the Rolex or even look at it closely. Obviously it says rolex on it, so everyone thinks it fake, but...not like that. I had all that stuff on with porsche keys hanging you know? So I'm thinking he spotted something.......It was REALLY embarrasing...

So now i need to know, how much do I needa drop for the Perfect Rolex Sub, were a jewler can get tricked with it. Someone link it also
Could it have been a low quality rep if you only paid $100?

bro, it's just a watch, no need for fancy analogies, no need for anything or worry about this or that

wear it if you like it, don't wear it if you don't, no need to make it complicated

I know several bald people who wear wig. They never told me they wear one (somebody else told me) and I can't recall seeing them telling everybody they met that they hair is fake. Because why would you do that?!

If you are so worried wearing fake watch (or fake teeth, fake penis, etc) then don't wear it. Life is already hard, why make it harder.

Buy a rep that you can afford a gen. This solves all the insecurities and you won't give a shit what people think.
when you can afford one effortlessly people around you knows your status. Like I have a couple of reps to duplicate few of the gens I own and there are days I don't wanna wear the gen for different reasons, the reps are easy to wear , bang around, not worry about etc.

I'd argue not saying anything makes life harder, but to each their own.

I'm new and learning. So I'm asking questions. And one of the things I'm curious about how legit these things look irl.

If only you were to see a genuine and replica side by side IRL. The Panerai 237 duet I own, I doubt you'll be able to tell the difference unless told, even in hand. The Tudors, in hand maybe a chance knowing ahead of time you have a genuine and replica you're comparing side by side. If you weren't alerted I don't think you'd realize it. Rolex, my VSF is the Pinnacle of sub reps I've owned. The only real "tell" is the click of the clasp vs genuine and a slight distortion of the cyclops at the very edge.

You can never tell if someone has an authentic watch or a replica. The world is full of enthusiasts who wear an old sweater but have $100,000 worth of audiophile equipment in their living room. These people don't eat in restaurants, they don't travel, they don't own a Porsche, they just sit and listen - assuming their lifestyle doesn't even allow for that audiophile kit. The rest have yachts and Richard Mille. On the other hand, you can tell someone is overly curious, jealous and just a fat slob if they keep asking and staring for an example at your Daytona. I wouldn't use the analogy of a wig and a baldhead. Everyone has to answer the question of why they want a replica. For many, the desire to touch, to see, to even feel the impression of authenticity is enough and when a dream comes true, a replica can also be sold. A real watch is an investment and this must be made wisely and safely. But if you buy a $30,000 car, you can buy a watch. Above all - enjoy life. And the RWI !

I thought you said pedophile equipment… slammed my head back to reread the first sentences.

Paragraphs are so underrated …
