Nice, thanks for the pics!
Updated my post before reading the responses though :spank:

JLC looks so damn fine (and subtle).

I think I am going to follow your lead and wait for another update to the AP, as I dont think they will update the JLC as soon (it only has ONE flaw that I can see - the grooves).

ROO cases are just a touch too big for me to wear every day without looking overly "posh".

I do agree that there should be a shorter rep strap - the AP bands shorty rubber is $150, OEM is $250, and custom strap options are around $100+

Not too terrible, but still a bit too pricy. Can you not just punch another square hole in the rep strap using something like this?

Also,

AP ROO Drivers Boutique (44 x 17mm)
Wrist Size: 6.3"

Stock rep strap + deployant was way too huge for me, but these pics might help someone with sizing.

Deployant on the last strap hole - note how the deployant shifts to one size making it impossible to wear;

your prob wearing it too tight. also most people prefer their watch sit below the wrist bone, unless you have bones all over the place?

Curious to know what the average male wrist size? Ive heard 7.5 or so but not sure because I guess it varies by country >?

You might want to look at this thread over at WUS that attempts to answer that question. So far it has 523 votes. It looks like the average falls between 7 and 7.25 inches (of course, that depends on if you are looking for the mean, median, or modal average).

As a survey it has a couple of flaws, one being that it has overlap. the second being that it is self selecting. Being as it is on a watch enthusiast site site, and for several years most watch marketing has focused on people willling to purchase over-sized watches, the bias is probably showing a size larger than average as the selection of watches is very limited for people at, or under, the average size.

Damnit, I really want an IWC Pilot!

I think the Mark XVII is too simple, so that pretty much leaves the 44mm Top Gun or 42mm 3717.

Which do you guys think I should go with?
6.3, skinny and flat wrist (44mm pam sits just fine, but a seawolf looks pretty massive).
I really like the Top Gun...

3717 is only 42mm and fairly thin though, I think I could pull it off?

Gah, and the new 177 is going to be beautiful...
Maybe I will just hold of till then

Blue 3714.
After sporting 44mm PAM, 43mm carerra, this felt small at 41mm even with no bezel

Hey skinny wrist friends~ I have a question and was hoping to get some good feedback.

I just got myself a AP Driver V3.5 and looking for a new strap. I'm debating between a tang buckle or a deployant setup.

Question is: Would a 105/70 work on my skinny 6" wrist? Or do I need to go smaller with a 95/65? The new custom strap (thinking DONERIX) would remove the strap float thus the 105/70 might end up similar to the stock rubber strap?

Cheers~

Sweet sweet sweet! Waiting on a Donerix croc strap so I can start wearing mine. It's strapless as we speak .... Sold the rubber as I had no use for it.

Figured I'd contribute. AP Diver 3.5 from Toro (first rep, great experience).
Wrist is about 6.3-6.4in. Last hole was way loose, stopped in a local jeweler to have them throw an extra hole in the strap. They said it was the best fake they've ever seen. If your wrist is <6.5, you're going to have to do something to wear this watch.

Can I request for a montblanc timewalker on a small wrist?
I have 6.2" wrist and considering this piece.

The new 7753 chrono or 7750, or the three hander is fine, altough I am leaning towards the three hander for the thinner case.

Thanks,

Thanks,

I recently took delivery of a mb time walker chrono and despite the case height and the dial detailing. It still has some presence and feels just about right on my 6.75.

The photo below makes it look too big for my wrist, but it isn't the case imo. Must have been angle or focal length.
