Is this a 44mm as advertised on the catalog I got from AP? Mine look and feel like a 42mm thou
actually 42mm is correct for the standard AP ROOs as the measurement, iirc this exlcudes the crown guards/crown, but in the AP catalogue it states 44mm because its measurement includes the latter.
if you search on chronostore, this safari 2014 model is specified as 42mm.
Cause I've just shipped a FC Diver on the 18th of Dec 2014 and till now it has not reached the buyer, USPS tracking info still shows no details of receiving package
bro, i think you betta PM your buyer to confirm if he has received the watch? during xmas period i also recently shipped to conus, my buyer actually received the watch already but its not updated on USPS.
there are infact quite a handful of dealers who are sgreans, but shipping is mostly out from GZ, CN because thats where the watch factories, point of sales is from. however locally there has been an increased in rep sellers as well charging sky high prices, best to avoid them.
you can always check with the dealers what payment modes they accept, if you wana pay by CC, can use Paypal linked with CC details which is more secured in some sense in the event the dealer/seller screws you up, although this is highly unlikely.
there are many supporting dealers in RWI with reasonable prices and fast response, check them out at the supporting dealers folder.

i personally think QC pics are just vision check. Whether you receive a good working condition one you can't tell by QC pics. That's what happen to mine. Unlucky i would say. icard2:

Well it depends, nowadays some dealers are reachable via Whatsapp so they can send you QC via that mode, else it would still be via email with pics taken using digital cameras.
i personally think QC pics are just vision check. Whether you receive a good working condition one you can't tell by QC pics. That's what happen to mine. Unlucky i would say.
all i can say is... poh heng sway haha, the QC pics serve as a review of the watch you be getting cosmetically wise, cant really tell internally if its up to std or CMI, thats why a good and reliable dealer plays an important role in after-sales support.
take for example a Rolex Sub-C, the DW alignment for date "28" is good when QC pics are given, but when you received the watch, Dates 1 through 5, the alignment abit off centered, this one cannot tell from QC pics and also the dealer will also not go through the trouble of taking individual pics of all 31 dates for you, so you just gotta pray and hope you received a good piece.
just some food for thoughts, at the end of the day, don't set your expectations too high cause in the end these are rep watches that cost a fraction of the gen but looks and feels the most part of it to around 90% or more gen-like. if you wish to get it perfect in every way, you could get it modded with gen parts (go franken) / fixed the alignment flaws by a watchsmith or simply buy the gen.

Haha he was the one who PM'ed me regarding the package. He even called USPS to enquire about the package. But no package received on their end either.

I waited months for it to pop up but finally succumbed to getting one for myself! It's actually not that expensive for a well replicated watch, do consider getting it from the TDs alright!
