But really how can the mods here in this case? Next time better to prepare a sign off form that state hereby I signed that the watch is received at my expectation and this sales can be officially closed.
thought it was fair that buyer had 20 minutes to look at the watch before purchase.
furthermore, for a purchase of that amount, i would have scrutinized the shit out of the watch before purchasing.
even for normal seikos and citizens, i would ensure that the watch is in good working order before swiping my card.
heck, i would scrutinize a mbk rolex only to walk away 30 minutes later after bargaining and nip picking.
i find it hard to believe that you would simply trust someone with $850 without doing your due diligence.
besides, cracked straps and lungs can be fixed, i don't see major complaints over dead movements or scratched plexis.
better top up an additional $1k warranty fee next time :len:

Wow. Just wow. That is just poor etiquette on the buyer's side. It would have been only slightly acceptable if he had bought it based on photos. But having seen and held the watch for a good 20 minutes..

But hey! This just reminded me of a time when I bought a tuna from an AD, and held it and played with it for a good 30 minutes, and guess what? I went home with a tuna with a scratch on the bezel. God knows how I missed it. But I couldn't just walk back to the AD and tell them I wanted a full refund eh?
I'd suggest contacting a mod, and not meeting up with such a person. Just block him, he's not worth your time. He sounds dangerous.
He might even return u the cash and the purposely damaged watch, like how the other guy on another thread returned a PAM without the crown guard.
