Mods here at RWi do a good job if keeping buyers safe from bad dealers. What if the dealer you propose screws buyers over in price and quality? TDs post the most minimal risk for this.
Hi there i not dealing with any dealer here .. the guy is a personal friend of mine.
And have u meet a dealer willing to open up the back of the watch to show the actual movement? he show me the actual photo and quality....he always open up the back to show the movement.... i am a fussy buyer too he know my standard... i can share with u the quality of his watch...then u can comment the quality
.... unlike some bad dealer... well u should know some are just not honest.
As for pricing .... i am sure those interested to buy will do their homework..
anyway like i say i am just sharing to those in SG only becos we are local having the same common hobbies thats all.
Oh pls... nobody know unless the country come clean and be honest to tell the whole world...
to bro vtecr1, its always good to SIC, however every forum has its own dos and don'ts just like every house has its own rules & regulations. there is a process that every trusted dealer goes through in order to be accredited just like our local CASETRUST etc...
accountability is the key word here and no backdoor sales is allowed or tolerated.
the moderators are just doing their job to make sure this little community of ours is safe and everyone has a positive experience cause in the past, there has been several big scams, where the modder/seller ran off with shitloads of watches, money and gen parts and disappeared without a trace.
if you are seriously thinking of offering your lobang to bros here, take it up with the mods and see if you can meet their criteria to be a supporting/novice dealer.

I sent mine to a shop where own by two uncles near Bt Gombak area. They can repair watches. No need tell them whether gen or rep, coz once they open the case, they will know. They dun comment much de.

Hi bro, i used Casetrust as just an example, of course if a vendor (5starstours) is out to hide the bad things from the public, no matter how accredited the vendor could be in the past, this will eventually be exposed. Pappy is another can of worms and well lets just leave politics out of this community, you can to TR:E to bitch about it there.
Just to add to all other local bros here as well, please buy your reps from trusted sources as the dealers have their personal details left with the mods, so if in the event any issues arises, there still a framework for accountability. if you get from other non-trusted sources, buy at your own risk.
