Hello! I'm finally able to access this forum after having some issues with my account activation.

I'm from Singapore too and i've been lurking around other replica watch forums like RWG Board and rwg.cc

to answer your question, i know which shop in SG that you can bring to service your rep. It's Vision Times Optical which is local at Tampines interchange beside the air conditioned MacDonalds.

i wanna share my experience. I bought a DSSD from Timeshops.net but after using for 3 months, my date mechanism broke. I was adjusting my date halfway when it got stuck and cannot turn anymore.

i held on to my DSSD for a year before i met my old school mate who happens to be working at the watch shop. I told him about my broken DSSD and he recommended his watchsmith to me.

So i sent my DSSD for repairs. Unfortunately, the watchsmith wasn't able to repair my date mechanism because he could not find any spare parts for it.

The shop refunded me back my deposit and i got my broken watch back..

Well yeah to summarise, you can send your reps to this shop to service, but no guarantees that it will be fixed. Good thing is that they will refund you the full deposit amount if they can't fix the watch.

hope that help!

hi, singapore too, east side.

welcome kennar6 and jyyj87 to our little community here and for sharing on rep friendly watchsmiths that we can approach.

we used to have some reliable ones that offer such services in here but unfortunately due to some unforeseen circumstances, they are no longer able to offer them.

nonetheless, do check out the GTG going on soon next week i would presume where you can meet other fellow geeks and discuss about your passion on watches.

@kennar6: you can look to the Trusted Dealers section to purchase some reps, the current hot favorite dealer would be Puretime as they have been delivery top notch super reps from Noobfactory. However you can also contact others like Tevor, Hontwatch, Kingwatch to name a few.

Hi all,

I am from Putrajaya, Malaysia. I hv wasted enough money on crap replicas of Speedmaster that have non-fucntional chrono hand, sub-dials.

I am looking for a good AAA grade replica Omega Speedmaster that has fully functional chrono and sub-dials; i prefer manual winding, no day/date. it's so hard to find one on mudah or Lelong. can anyone telll me where to buy one, say at Petaling St?

cheers,

Hi bro,

welcome to RWI, i think locally its quite hard to find very good reps in MY like those places you've mentioned. it would be best to look at some of our Trusted Dealer(s) offerings.

you can refer to one here that was released this year and has a working chronograph functions with manual wind movement.

Hi all, newbie from singapore here.

interested with Pam 1950 power reserve 8 days, any master in singapore sell it or plan to sell it? looking forward to super rep if any.

really wish it has the superlume, solid SS, pvd case and wanna swap the leather strap with rubber strap and deployment clasp. much better if can be mod with some gen parts.

basically, looking for it look like gen with water proof, gonna bring it to the sea....

or kindly advise if any TD's who sell the 1950 super reps.

and will i have a problem with custom if reps ship to singapore here? any experiences so far.

Appreciate all the guides and sharing here, thanks!!

welcome bro, do enjoy ya stay here! as for the PAM 233 you are referring too, the factories do not offer it at the super-rep level yet.

usually the rule of thumb would be the simpler the better, if there are many complications in the design of the watch, then it would also be harder to replicate.

if you are seriously considering PAM OTB super-reps, you can refer to here painstakingly complied by one of our great forumers.

if you are looking for a 1950 super-rep, you can try the PAM 127E or 217 from Noob factory, ask the dealers for more information on price and details.

no issues with customs shipping into SG, just don't ship to many in 1 shipment to save cost as this undoubtedly puts your package at risk of seizure too.

Hi Ash!!

yeah, i have seen that pam guide page, which lead me to read, read and read many times....( thanks to ale), learn a lot from it. Ale also provide me some answer to my questions.

im so interested with Black pams, can advise me which one simpler and consider super reps, how about the pvd coating, will it last? does the rubber strap feel cheap with dust stick on it?

thanks :)

you can refer to the latest 026k or 292 PVD pams that are supposedly very good in constuction and finishing. do a search around the PAM threads to see others who have bought this watches and had done a short review on it.

the latest rubber straps from the factories do not really have the vanilia smell or attracts dust to it that badly anymore. good luck with ya search!

Hi guys! Newbie also from the Philippines! Can you guys suggest an excellent dealer here who can ship to our country? Thanks!

Hi Marvs08, welcome to RWI. I am currently based in the Philippines and have never purchased a watch to be sent here. I am quite worried about the customs issues here. I heard its pretty risky as your item might get stolen or confiscated. Heard many stories of officers trying to get a slice out of you as well.

Any experienced Filipino members around here who can give advice?
