Hi Asturias,

i'm in the same predicament as u are. I wanted a classic fusion 42mm but only Silix carries them and the reps are not v6 quality, thus i decided not to get it.

Hi All,

I am a newbie aka noob on rep and i am from Singapore. After spending a few days reading the forum i finally register as a member.

I had just place a pre-order on a PAM 111 N from Toro and a Noobmariner from Narikaa.

Hope i make the right choices on these 2 watches.

Do we have any regular meet-up in Singapore?

Hi BMWSG, you just places an order for a 111N? Did you get the Asian or Swiss movement?! Cuz many of us have been waiting for the 111N with the Asian movement. All the TDs are currently out of stock with that watch. Anyways, welcome to RWI!

Swiss movement sounds to be better quality, but is 18000bph while Asian is 21600bph.

I took the Asian Movement, but was tempting to upgrade to Swiss movement... but i read a lot of forumers mentioned that this watch goes very well with the Asian movement.

You mean he have stocks for the Asian movement now? Has he sent you to QC pics yet!?

Oh no ... mine was on pre-order list too ... he mentioned about 3 weeks of waiting time ... but looking at the time you guys had been waiting, i am keeping my fingers crossed. 3 weeks sounds great for me now at the moment!

By the way, how did your GTG go? Any pics :)

sadly no pics, though several peeps did bring their cams to take some shots for their own collection.

Hi guys! Newbie also from the Philippines! Can you guys suggest an excellent dealer here who can ship to our country? Thanks!

you could try approaching any of the TDs here, i'm sure they would definitely send reps to PH and would now what to do to avoid seizures and customs issues.

relume, locally noone really does it on a full time professionally as a service to other local peeps, your next best option would be to send ya watch to Goin6633 for relume service among others such as movt overhaul etc. heres the link to his thread. for franken PO, theres one up for sale by cool&wow and hes shipping within SEA. can PM him if ya keen.

actually hublots are rather big in size, thus if you have skinny wrist, i would highly recommend not to get it unless you got a good offer from another forumer and you could give it a try?

hey dude, welcome to our local rep community, well we occasionally meet up once in a rare blue moon, in fact the last one was just last July actually with about 10-20 peeps showing up. there will be some impromptu ones that you can also arrange among yourselves.

Anyone knows where can we find a watch maker that repair rep Rolex in Singapore?

sadly, we do not have any official go-to-guy who is rep friendly. however you can refer to 2 pages back before this page where someone was recommending his friend's watch shop somewhere in tampines.

further to add, actually the asian movements offered by the factories are quite ok and reliable so you don't really need to spend the additional $$$$ on Swiss ones. however you may want to send your asian movement watches for full svc/overhaul for a piece of mind.

Hi, guys.. Warm hello from Indonesia.. :)

I' have some reps that I've bought locally here, but haven't have any experience buying any reps online..

From what I've read so far, the reps from the RWI Trusted Dealers are of better quality.. especially the ones that are made by noob factory & h factory.. And some reps are unique, like the modified movement of AP ROO sec@12, etc..

After reading much.. I've decided to take the plunge and buy online.

Can you guys kindly share advice on which Trusted Dealers to choose from? Experience? What to expect? How many days it arrived? Troubles?

Thanks guys

sounds good bro, but does he also have the spares available to fix the watch? most of the time when i approach any watchsmith, they say they can fix it but do not have the spares to do so and ask me to provide the parts while they put in the labor required.

indeed, the reps that this 2 factories produces are really a notch above what you usually can find in those night markets in JKT, KL or BKK etc. however they would usually cost more as well due to the supposedly high quality finishing process and attention to detail.

Hfactory is famous for certain PAMs such as the 088, 104, 005K as well as the Hublot v6 range, NoobFactory is famous for PAM243, 029, AP ROO Sec@12 which you've mentioned as well as the current popular AP Diver v3.

So far I've personally owned and change hands with rep probably 10-20pcs since starting this hobby and bought from various dealers such as Hontwatch, ReplicaMake, Tevor and lately quite a handful of pcs from Puretime. all my experience has been very forthcoming xcept the latest purchase from PT which met with some hiccups.

well for a start, you could try to approach Puretime, though they are currently having payment issues with Paypal so they only accept CreditCard/Western Union modes of payment among others. do check it out if you are comfortable before proceeding.

upon placing an order, you would be asked to make payment via several methods as mentioned above. once payment is confirmed, you will be sent QC pics of the said watch(es) you have ordered and if its not to your liking, you can request for another piece. undoubtedly this would also definitely prolong the process of you receiving the watch so it really depends on your individual preference.

Delivery wise is quite fast for me, upon shipping out from CN via EMS, it reaches me within 2-3 days in Singapore, Indonesia maybe add another 2 days more or so if there are no issues with Customs.

hope the information above gives you a better idea buying from the dealers directly.

Thanks for sharing, very informative :)

Yeah, there are a couple of places to buy reps here, the quality varies from from the cheapies starting from just a buck (lol ) to a couple hundred dollars (close to a grand).

I was planning on purchasing through Puretime since they have a water resistance service for 20$, but then I've read that they're not accepting Paypal payments anymore :(. I'm very cautious putting any Credit Card info online, just don't wanna have a bad experience in the future.. Are there any dealers that have that water proofing service?

Btw, I have 6.5 wrist.. if you don't mind me asking, which would best fit my puny wrist without looking ridiculously huge: a Panerai Luminor, a HBB or an AP Diver?

for 6.5 wrist, you could try a 44mm PAM with a shorter strap like 70-75/120-125 length, hmm maybe the new Noob 111 v3 would be a good starter for you. HBB wears too big and the deployant isnt a joy to use either. AP Diver is rather slim on its side profile as compared to AP ROO Sec@12, however the rubber strap that comes with it is rather long, even at the innermost strap hole its at least 6.5-7" if im not mistaken.

as for TDs who still take PP, it would be best to drop them an email to enquire to avoid any misunderstandings upon placing order, do also check if the watch is in stock before ordering as sometimes the stock status on their websites is not always updated. goodluck with ya search dude!

Hi stonesix, I'm new here too.. Welcome to RWI :)

Heres an amazing thread by ALE7575 analyzing and reviewing PAM reps: http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/reference-pam-review-107365

ALE7575's thread evaluates and classifies PAM reps from the best to the least:
EVALUATION OF REPLICAS
Concerning evaluation of repicas we have made a classification in three levels:
SUPER REPS – reps very close to the gen in materials, external look (even in side by side comparison), and reliable
FIRST CLASS REPS- reps very close to the gen and reliable, but with some difference in materials, functions… or little differences in external look or colours only remarkable in side by side comparisons.
BAD-LOW GRADE REPS- reps with evident differences with the gen, different materials, functions, colours, very different movement with a display caseback. In general all replicas which have not any good version and are not at all recommendable to buy them.
I will consider the rest of non classified replicas as GOOD OR MEDIUM GRADE REPS
Therefore, all the reps without classification are good o medium grade rep, but usually we will recommend other replicas to buy when we are considering such a type of replicas.

A must read IMHO for anyone planning on getting a PAM rep.
