Hello guys,
in the next days i will work on my first build: 1680 from cartel the start point.

I have looking for reshape case (and i think to be' able with paper and dremel)

After that i would change tube and crown (with athaya 700). The athaya tube going inside well or i need to create more space???

Second step DIAL and Bezel:
I want create a good patina with smoke cigar, for the bezel i would use bleach.

I really don t know how to fade dark the pearl.
any suggestion?

last of all reshape gently the bezel coin and add some use years look to the case and braclet (Any suggest?)

Let me know what you think and what can i do ti build better.
For example i see ruby's site but i never recive a catalog or price by email....wtf....how can i do that?

THANKS TO ALL OF US :)

Have a good forum! And passion build!
Regards
Matt

The 'good' side to the lockdown is that you have time to upgrade your babies.

My 1680 so far:

- gen T25 service dial (latest addition)

- gen bezel assy, ring and insert

- 1570 with flat 3 date wheel

- gen blank service case-back

- gen 93150 with 580 end links

- gen Xtal

- Vietman mid-case

- Athaya crown and tube

- can't remember where I got the hands from :)

It has been quite the journey as no one part is from the same part of the world.
