It's a 1979 BJ40 Landcruiser. All original apart from:
- Comfy seats;
- centre console;
- aftermarket wheels & tyres;
- aftermarket roll bar;
- aftermarket bull bar;
- up-engined from Toyota 3B diesel to Toyota 13B diesel for more freeway power and better off-road grunt;
- dual jerrycan carrier system on right rear;
- 20mm ammo can storage system bolted to interior rear wheel humps.
It now has an original olive drab 1970s vintage Toyota factory softtop to replace the shitty vinyl J**p-style Kayline top it came to me with. And yes, it has doors
Planned mods are very few and mainly just bolt on:
- Soft halfdoors in OD canvas;
- snorkel;
- winch and bar;
- 16 inch factory rims and skinny mud tyres;
- seats re-covered in OD canvas;
- MAYBE a brake upgrade to front discs...
I do a lot of remote area work, so it's perfect for my evil purposes.
