I asked TC about what I had read about the stiff bezel and he told me that the Gens are like this as well and you need to use three fingers.

No word about mine yet that I paid for on 4th Jan, 65 days now so could be anytime.

So I'm curious and so far nobody has had an answer. Tc is shipping with his all new PA bezel assembly now. Does anybody know what that means? I guess it's not the solution to the stiff bezel problem

I can take a guess......polyamide ?

PA is the chemical nomenclature for polyamide, which is nylon, maybe the type of retention system ?

My TC LN has the PA bezel. Wasn't as stiff as my previous LV before I cleaned it. Only thing I "might" be different is that the pa bezel ring might have more of a skirt to it. Pa ring was a tad thicker but might have just been a thicker batch?

You should send it to miskieped. He can sort it out for you. If you are ever thinking of a gen crystal this would be the time to do it

Both of those should fit as long as they're genspec. I've fitted a few gen full bezel assemblies onto TC cases and never had an issue.

Mike is the best around. Understand that he has a full time job and a family so it might take him a few days to respond. Best way to contact him is over at RWG. PM him there. As far as TC bezels go. They are normal china made bezels. TC does a lot of amazing things but people think that they are real Rolex's. You want a real rolex you really have to buy a real one or buy real parts. TC gives you a watch that is a starting point. He gives you a good case that can take any gen spec part. So you can order aftermarket or real rolex parts and they fit. You can put a real 3135 in it. A real crystal and press a real crystal ring and bezel assembly. Or you can keep it the $500 replica he gives you. The bezel is cheap. The bezel insert is cheap but for the price an amazing copy probably the best around. He gives you an amazing case and band and dial and insert. The rest is cheap china made parts. It is as simple as that. You want a good bezel go to eBay and find a real rolex bezel. It will cost you more than your watch but you will get the amazing bezel that a rolex has and that solid click and spring of the tension gasket. If not the next best thing is star time bezels. I can order it for you a hell of a lot cheaper than the one you see on eBay and it is swiss made parts. It is better than the TC stuff but still not a Rolex. There is a reason Rolex cost a lot and TC cost so little. I have had my share of TC watches. I still have my LV case. But that case is the only thing that is not rolex on my watch. I have swapped everything from the movement to the bezel assembly. I can tell you you will love the upgrade of your watch. What I use to alway start on with a TC was the crystal and the crown. He has done a good job on those two parts now so I wouldn't waist my money on that now. The insert was next. He has fixed that. The inserts he is making is the best in the clone market. So take the money it cost to upgrade the crystal and crown and insert and spend it on a rolex bezel assembly. I think I paid $750 for my last one and it came with a gen insert. When you feel that bezel and hear the click you will fall back in love with your watch. Then leave it until the china movement craps out on you then invest in a yuki or a real 3135. While your doing that get a dial an hands and a gen date wheel. Put that in and you will have a life long watch. Then in the upcoming years change the band and the crystal. At the end you will have a watch that will run and act and be an amazing Rolex submariner that is made by you.
