I totally agree with you!!! Breitling reps used to be better back in the day imo. Evolutions were really well done and most, if not all had solid double AR Coating! Nowadays the crystal is the biggest giveaway because most factories don't use double AR. At least what I've seen lately is just AR to the underside of the crystal... Makes no sense to me! They had it right and then messed it up. One step forward, two steps back! What else is new

Haha yeah, I heard from a TD that the factory that used make decent Breitlings closed down, now unfortunately there is a lack of market demand for them so they don't put much effort into the build.

I've probably committed some sort of sacrilege with 1 or 2 straps however I'm happy with them for now. The Tudor with black dial is Gen, as obviously is the moonswatch. The daytona top right is probably an absolute shitter, but I have had if for about 13 years and still runs smoothly having paid £70 from memory.
The rest I have acquired from this forum either M to M or via a couple of TD's.

I was extremely Impressed, I noticed zero difference other than the handstack is slightly bigger if you had them side to side and looked extremely close from side on.

The bracelet fits me perfect as is on rhe rep, on the gen with full links it's a little bigger.. everything looks and feels the same.

Correct, my Seamaster is on my van seat hidden by my gym towel, I have a Rolex box which contains one nice rep (currently my Daytona), a nice 5 watch box that tends to have 5 decent reps in, a 12 watch box that has most other stuff, a nice but wrong Patek box with my RG 5711 in, my white moon phase MoonSwatch is on my bedside table, I have no idea where my Swatch/Blancpain or other Moonswatch are!

My problem is simple, 25 watches, 21 places to put them including my wrist!.

I bought the 12 slot watch box from Rockwell first, thinking “there’s no chance that I will fill up all 12 slots”. In fact I started with a 6 slot in the shopping cart, and then 2 weeks later thought I was being prudent buying the 12.

If you have the room for it, this is a nice 24 slot box.
