There are a few more other watches in another box, but I might settle for those three and put the others up for sale. I somehow prefer a smaller collection over my about 20 watches I had before at some point.

Me too bro, it just takes that to find out what you really like.

Hi mpx

Just tonight I was thinking my VSF Blue 8500 Aqua Terra and ZZF 116610LN are my two favorite watches.

Maybe I need to try the Tag Heuer Carrera next.

It has only taken me eleven (11) replica purchases to find the two (2) that I really love; VSF Blue 8500 Aqua Terra and ZZF 116610LN.

Cheers.

To be honest, the Carrera wouldn't be my first choice for a Chrono. But this is a Gen and I got it for a special milestone in my life, so it has some kind of connection to me and I don't want to sell it. Otherwise I would probably choose a Speedmaster, PAM or something like that.

Beautiful Collection ssr905 !

Thank you for sharing.

What factory is the Jaeger-LeCoultre bottom row second from the left ?

What factory is the Omega bottom row third from the left ?

Thank you !

Thank you museguy

The two watches you singled out are actually gens. The JLC is a Master Grande Taille and the Omega is a 1962 manual wind.

Here another shot of the "real" collection. There are still a few more than just the three on the previous page. But I might sell the Daytona soon as it's a bit over the top for me and I'm also not so sure on the JLC. It's a really beautiful watch, but I wear it like three times a year. But as I don't really need the money and it doesn't really take up any space I will probably just keep it.

Dear ssr905

Thank you for getting back to me ! Beautiful watches the Master Grande Taille and the 1962 Omega. I am a sucker for manual wind Omegas.

Last night I had a knack for picking the genuine watches.

Wear the watches in good health.

Cheers

Dear mpx

Thank you for sharing the photo of the collection.

I had incorrectly assumed that the Tag Heuer was a replica.

Cheers

Thanks. Been collecting watches for 7-8 years total. 4 years collecting reps. At some point, I had over 50 affordable gens before I found the Dark Side. Now, there are only about 30 gens, culled mostly by gifting to friends and relatives. You could say I’ve gone totally “Repan.”[emoji12] The gens I still buy and keep are bronze pieces and others that are only of sentimental value. I just don’t have the desire, time, or patience for sale transactions.

an inspiration!

I posted a short while aho but I just got a watch I’ve been waiting a long time to get and I think it rounds out the collection. So here is the definite collection-shot (for a while at least)
