Selling in M2M - annoying buyers

Putting a watch for sale is for me an uneasy experience, I want everything to be right and I probably shake at least as much as the final buyer until the watch reaches him and he's happy with it.
Another bothering aspect is annoying prospective buyers. The insecure, the lazy, the brazen, self-entitled folk who think they're buying on amazon or who simply think they're smarter than everyone else. I'll start off with a couple of examples and hope you can share your experiences as well, so maybe some of those buyers will read this and learn a bit about "buying etiquette".

Those who...
You put a watch for sale for, say 630$, shipping included. You even post "open to reasonable offers". You receive a PM: "I'm taking it for 500 now". You either ignore the buyer or answer "what did you drink?" or even "F*** off". The prospective buyer reports you for being "rude".

Those who....
You put a ZF 15500 for sale. You receive a PM: "What's the difference between ZF and APSF of this model? Which one is more gen-like in terms of dial color? How is the quality of the case finishing? Will someone recognize it's a fake watch?".

Those who...
You sell a diving watch. Buyer receives it and sends you a PM: "The watch doesn't work! It will only run for a couple of hours and the small wheel can't be pulled, it's stuck!". You answer: "Did you perchance unscrew the SCREW-DOWN crown?". Answer: "The what?"

Please share your experiences, I'm sure there's more annoying and hilarious anecdotes to tell.

Been buying and selling here since 2017, and never had a negative experience. Everything went smoothly, every time. Once a buyer wasn't happy with the watch received, so I took it back and sold it to somebody else. Happens once in a while, but it's the rare exception.

I once sold an immaculate Mercedes C Class to some knob head from Plockton, (a lot of it populated by the bit of flash for no cash brigade incomers), it was a 2007 model, absolutely immaculate, Mels old car, and any of you who know me know how anal I am wiv me cars. I know it was working, and had the guy rung me I'd have told him to bring it to the workshop for me to check it, but he didn't !!

Anyways, was a while ago, and at that time it was a 6 year old car, low mileage and 4 days later, without any contact from the buyer, trading standards call me ..................

"Mr xxxxx bought a car from you and the interior light doesn't come on when he opens the doors !!"

[now this is July and it doesn't really get dark up here that time of year, certainly only for 2 - 3 hrs between about 2 and 4 am].

I chuckled and said "I am sorry to hear that, he should have contacted me directly, but please find out if he has tried opening the doors in darkness"................

I can here chatter, then back comes the TS woman ............

"He insists it doesn't work, and it has nothing to do with it being dark, it doesn't come on unless he presses the switch" ..................

I tell her to explain to the aformentioned cunt that Mercedes cars after about 2004 model year will only come on when the daylight sensor mounted at the top sensor of the windscreen senses it's dark, please tell Mr xxxxx to read the fuckin' owners manual in the glovebox !!

Never did get a reply after that

I never sell anything here, but after I bought a rep from M2M, I received some messages asking me "Do you wanna sell it?", "how much are you going to sell it?" etc. Do these count?
