So he told Jason that he just had it appraised, and then he told Tucker he was going to get it appraised....

And these master Panerai appraisers put the GC on upside down.......lmao

i wonder why they pulled the CG anyway .....???

If you scroll down his page, even the reviews of other items he has sold, are talking about replica watches.. This shit knows...

Oh he knows its a replica. This is in his comments page:

nice replica
very pleased with this. I hate big watches and this one at 40mm fits just right, seems every other one is 44mm or bigger. it all fits and works flawlessly. the crystal is mineral rather than sapphire so i am waiting to see if i get scratches...none yet. my only negative is the case is not polished by the base where the pins are. thats really the only detractor otherwise its a great value and a great look. the band is perfect and became supple in a few days.

What a scum. People like that are what gives this hobby a bad name. Sent him an inquiry.

"Do you have the box and papers? Has it been serviced? Having trouble making out the serial number in the picture. I like to be thorough before I consider dropping that kind of coin on a watch."

Curious what his response will be.

You'll never get him to admit it. I had a similar exchange of emails (I was just messing with the guy, not trying to be some Rolex vigilante) with a guy trying to sell a fake Smirf on Ebay , he soon Started insulting me, cursing etc - Ebay don't care and the seller knows nothing is going to happen to him.

"I bought the watch about a year ago and the store told me it has been serviced recently. I have the service case / box from panerai with it. Shoot me a text at 516-672-8785 with any other questions thanks "

It's fun to see how these guys will change their store from person to person.

Mess with him ask him if it has the "gen" fish imprint on the back and if it states 300m on the case. And have someone else ask for proof that it's gen. My money is on he will send a picture of the "gen" fish lol

Just tell him you're interested, you'll pay the asking price, but before handing over the money you want to meet him at an AD , so that they can check it out for authenticity.
Then listen to the stupid excuses.

A gypsy crook. They come with all stories. Trust your gut. The slightest 'thing' is always a red flag. .......... Meet with him in a restaurant or coffee shop. Bring two cell phones. Keep the good one in your pocket. Leave the other one in the restaurant table. That makes him trust you. Go to the mens room. Call the cops and say it is an emergency and the guy wants to rob you. Say that after you have told them where the restaurant is. Give your name. Hang up. Turn off your ringer. Dispatchers like to call back if you hang up. You dont want the crook to hear your phone ringing. They are very conscious and weary about ringing phones. Come out of the mens room zipping your pants. Sit down and engage in conversation. Then stall for time. Order coffee. Be happy. Smile. The moment the cops arrive in the restaurant, wave at them to come to you. Talk to one of them away from the crook. Explain the situation. ......Go from there. He will piss on his pants. The rest is how it unfolds. Dont worry. Cops tend to believe the caller and accuser most of the time. Since it is in the thousand dollar deal, it is grand theft and fraud. A felony. Once in the station. The watch will be taken as evidence. You should have your cash to show "you were ready to buy". That shows you were serious about it. Or a ready made check in the amount he wanted............. Get him !!

I was tempted to ask for the appraisal he got when purchased or a current appraisal, but don't feel like it today... maybe if eBay doesn't pull it by Monday when I'm off I will. All I can say is scumbag. Makes me look at my beautiful PAM111 and feel a twinge of guilt that someone could get screwed over so badly. I know it happens all the time, which is why I will never buy a gen from anywhere but a authorized dealer. ( And truthfully cannot justify the price difference for a gen anyway)
