Anyway, I'm trying to get back to the rep scene, but time is not on my side nowadays.
I'm starting to understand people with lots of SPARE money, its much easier to walk in a boutique and buy something, whereas doing all your research and homework to buy a decent rep takes some time

Yes, is very easy to buy a gen, of course (I have done it in the past) but it is very much boring.

That happens when people have politeness and is willing to undertsand that the rules are here and are necessary.
When people have such a behaviour we can bordering a little the rules and everyone is happy.

Thanks! It's actually made from my fathers baseball glove and it's a very famous Mexican brand called PALOMARES it's like Rawling. This strap looks better in real life and came out very very soft

man i love people who make and fix things .... not a lost art, but a forgotten one at times - well done to all who are willing to fail a few times in order to do something worthwhile
.... in that vein and apologies for going OFF TOPIC for a moment ... here is the first (and only) door handle I made .... couldn't find one that would suit and fit the doors I made, so got some scrap copper and brass and an old piece of railway line and a hammer .... this is the result - took a couple of days to get it as good as I wanted, but I am happy that it worked out .... the finger plates were a snap after the handle.
Here's to the makers of things!

Is all this about "Seriph" door handle pictures? I know it's off topic but not selling anything. If its about my pictures I am not selling, just showing what I have done for my watch. I think today I woke up with the wrong foot. LOL

FOr the record: I made that for MY house - and the entire entrance - several weeks after our region was devastated by the worst natural disaster in the nation's history. I wasn't sleeping and couldn't work so when I wasn't volunteering at the recovery centre, I went out to my shed and made that ... it helped 'reset' my mind and heart.
The only thing I was "selling" was to celebrate that the OP and I shared a willingness to try our hands at something instead of just buying something .... my intent had no more agenda than that - perhaps it is only pertinent for those who also do such things.
I don't sell door handles, watches straps pens or anything else on the forums ...

Cabobimmer - any chance of seeing in more detail, the junction between the denim and the leather? it looks like one just morphs into the other but I am sure that's a trick of the pic - is there a leather backing all the way that you have perhaps shved down to accommodate the denim?
