Need to make a hybrid of the 2... I like the thickness of the sec@9 (as well as the sec@9) and the correct date wheel. The gen is of course amazing. Here is my "flawed" sec@3:

There are 2 pics of the backside on top of this thread?

I can't take any more pics, 'cause I don't have my camera on me at the moment. And my Blackberry really sücks at taking near distance photos. I tried, but it only gives me blurry crap... :(

As for the $ -- PM sent.

Thanks for the praise, but as I said: the grey dial and yellowish stripe really bug me out. We'll see about that though...

WTB: Well, it's right there on the first page of this thread?! :) Only Mary (www.watch-international.com -- not TD here, but highly praised TD on other rep fora) was able to source it.

As for the price, I recommend you send an eMail to [email protected] and ask her... ;)

Cheers

I had one of these, very nice looking. Didnt like the way it felt on my wrist.
The easy way to get one of these is through watcheden, its where I got mine, just be sure and look closely at the pics as they have several versions.

Did your sec@9 version have a grey dial with mustard-yellowish stripe too, like mine - or did you have a good black dial and orange stripe, like the posted sec@3 version from Royster629? You don't happen to have a good photo, do you? Would help me with the communication towards my dealer... ;)

THANKS :)

Update on sec@9 Tag24

OK guys, final update on this watch:

1) Dealer confirms to me the sec@9 version only comes with this wrong grey dial and mustardish-yellow stripe.

2) Also, Mary told me that it's not possible to mod the sec@9 version with a sec@3 black dial/right colour stripe, because they are from different factories, dial have different thickness etc. etc.

=> So, either one can live with this watch "as is" - or not.

Cheers

As an "old fart lurking" ;), my advice is dont sweat the small stuff. Enjoy the watch. These look great, and no one is going to call you out on this(well, unless you run into one of us). I have discovered over the years that I enjoy the watches more if I dont focus on the flaws.

Im sure one of the modders is competent enough to paint the dial and seconds hands up to match gen better

Well, yeah, that might be true.

All I'm saying is, people should be aware of those dial flaws when buying, 'cause to the best of my knowledge there is no other sec@9-slim-case-version of the Monaco24 out of the box.

If s.o. feels annoyed by those flaws and is willing to do some pretty heavy mods, it's his decision. If s.o. isn't annoyed by those flaws - all the better!

Me personally thinks, those flaws are neither minor, nor does the grey/mustard coloured dial suit the watch. But to each their own ;)
