Damn that's looks nice!!! I just pulled the trigger on a ZF, don't know if I'll do any mods yet. But I'm pretty happy looking at pics that it's a lovely looking example of a seamasterSorry for the delay. Here's some shots. VSF case, movement, hands. ZF dial and bezel insert. ORF bracelet.
And we have a winner! Looks perfect! Thanks for sharing.Sorry for the delay. Here's some shots. VSF case, movement, hands. ZF dial and bezel insert. ORF bracelet.
didn't even notice that gap until i read your message. Outside of aesthetics alone, it'd probably cause troubles with waterproofing right?VSF was the yellow tinted lume and ZF was the gap between the crown and the case
No, I tested it. Good to 50m. The gasket is still contacting the crown tube and making a seal. Seems the tube/stem is just a bit long creating the gap. I'm sure it could be modified fairly easily by someone with better skill and know how.didn't even notice that gap until i read your message. Oh you guys are talking about between the scalloped bezel and the stem. It's not actually the crown guard itself that has the gap is it? The case covers the stem slightly on gen whereas ZF shows the stem?Look harder. You can do it
Personally I would take the gap over the short crown guard, but that's just me.Look harder. You can do it
Did you actually mean a tight (to rotate) bezel?how does a tight rotor affect the rep wearing experience?
You need to embed photos with code. Very easy...Sorry for the delay. Here's some shots. VSF case, movement, hands. ZF dial and bezel insert. ORF bracelet.
Do you want me to?Yeah sorry, thought I did. With no ability to edit posts I couldn't fix it.
That would be fantastic. Thank you. Apologies for the hassle.Do you want me to?
We are following this new release in another thread:Any factory pics of the full ceramic black one from orf?
I've seen plenty of gen SMP dials with similar alignment issues in the exact same area.
