All the tech specs match the AT&T/Samsung specs except for battery strength. That's not a big deal to me because I always carry a spare.

My question is...

Has anyone bought a clone phone from Asia/China and activate on the USA AT&T network? Did you just has to swap your SIM card if you already had a smart phone?

I'd like to get a Note 3 clone but don't want to droop $250 and HOPE it works. Thoughts? Any input will be appreciated.

Thanks!

I don't know about this - networks have gone smarter in detecting your device. Samsung wouldn't even allow US Note3's to work on European carriers. It might work on AT&T if the device registers itself as an unidentified smartphone.

I recently switched from iPhone to Note3 and I must say it is an amazing phablet. I would recommend against getting the clone - not worth the hassle. You could spend that $250 on a decent rep instead.

Thanks! Was hooping to see some feedback since the clones have onlt been available for about a month. Of course the seller says it works on AT&T and does accepts returns but I don't want to hassle with that stuff.

Thanks for the info. You just made me want the N3 even more! LOL! I do have the S3, so I might me able to get over my moment of weakness.

It should work but "clone" will be stretching the description.
The software will be generic Android at best, Java at worst.

You want a good cheap phablet? Buy the Kogan and flash to your desired flavor of 'droid: http://www.kogan.com/au/buy/agora-50-dual-core-smartphone/ We have a half dozen of these here, great phone for the bux.

Thanks! That does look like a sweet deal but I already have the Galaxy S3.

Hell, I should sell that and pick up one of these!

Boss,

You thoughts on this? If this is against the rules, you can certainly delete it. I am NOT the seller. Just wanting opinions on this. Thank you!

Don't take chances when it comes to electronics (especially the expensive ones).
A cellphone is your most important tool during an emergency - do you really want to gamble on its functionality?

I say someone should be brave and take a punt. Then this trailblazer can let us know if it's worth it or not, that will be the real proof.

Maybe a group of us chip in some $$$ and buy one and have someone activate it on ATT.
