Never tried shaking, usually a few tugs does it for me before I goto bed lol,

I never really bother with trying to keep charged as I wear them all in rotation, if its dead before I wear I just adjust tune date, few quick shakes and it's good to go

I don't think it's any better or worse than my Mh or RGRC even the cyclops is good. I'll not be getting mine Ar'd, well at least till Ryan launches his colourless crystalopcorn:

No doesn't really feel any different on the wrist, chrono pushers are obviously bigger, but I think the Cf and gold just give the illusion that's is a lot bigger than a Roo
