Actually just found this on Chrono so apparently it's a Gen model (just maybe not current offerings). Haven't found the brighter blue yet.

The version the newest Dude shows is all covered with white lume (and it's the first time I've seen this version). The one from Cyprusdeadalus has no metal frame and the hour lumedots are white. So far the black version is not coherent with any gen version I know. It's also a pity that the pictures of the QC are mostly so compressed that you can only guess at the sunburst effect of the blue ones.

Received mine. It's a gorgeous watch and seems to be well made and good quality. But I wish the factory just made this with a strap instead of bracelet and made it cheaper. I feel like the bracelet probably added a lot to the cost and price, and it's something I'm just going to take off and put away anyway. I'm putting the watch on a sailcloth strap, marine nationale or Nato or maybe a tropic rubber (all of which it looks better on than bracelet in my opinion anyways). I'm going to get it pressure tested and if it passes 10 bar I'll use it as a beater for a while.

I also got mine. The bracelet is super awesome, quick adjustment works great, shorten it is very easy and works as described by me. To use a Swiss movement is the right way! So you can also use the clock to measure time :sneaky:. Would be even better if there would be an upgrade option to Top Grade....

I agree. Swiss movement was the selling point for me that made me get this. Chinese movements and water resistance are the only two reasons I don’t buy many reps. I don’t care about perfect NWBIG micro details just reliability quality and function. I’d happily pay higher prices for Swiss movements and 200m pressure tested. Cheap $50-$60 Seiko mod cases are good for 200m some for 300m. That’s why I have about a dozen Seiko mods but only a couple of reps.

I got the green model in. Fantastic watch - the fade to black at the edges is just *chef's kiss*.

All of the various finishes and beveling make this feel like the 'must have' watch if you love your submariner and want something else so you don't only wear Rolex all the time. A more luxurious feel on the wrist, I would say the only downside is the rather large crown that sticks out.

It appears they also fixed the clasp finishing as well.

^^ Any recommendations for removing this? It's stuck in the grooves of the sandblasted portion.

Edit: To those wondering how to fix the clasp, it's not easy, but straightforward enough. Rotate both screws on a section to be perpendicular to the edge of the bracelet and that will release the pins. Mirror for the other side.

Take a toothpick or something else soft. For me, it worked well with a fingernail.

I have already removed the movement 2x today ;)
First I have removed a small flaw on the hour marker, which was already visible on the QS pictures. And then out again, to de-dust the dial properly.

Sorry, it was a mentally very exciting action to say the least. Had to repaint some parts ... Therefore, unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures...but everything looks like on the promotional pictures at Jtime, including the scratched fixing screws of the movement retaining ring ;)

I also quickly put the movement on the time scale. It looks OK for a SW200. If anyone is interested, I'll measure it in different positions.

I've got two gen watches for sale right now, and the moment either of them sells, I'm all over this.

Here some measurements of the movement on the timegrapher. Runs quite well!
